The entire point of the creation of the Carl Gustav was making a gun that could penetrate current Russian and German medium/heavy armor.
Due to how the game works, you can't replicate a gun that does more precise damage (since this is an small projectile) but also penetrates a lot of armor (this case). This is why most of my AT guns 2 shot (although the Carl Gustav from the pack was updated when you actually made your original comment, to increase the damage fall off and make it a 3 shot kill at around 100 meters), since 2 shots is the balance between "penetrates a lot of armor" and "does a lot of post penetration damage".
If there were several types of heavy armor that'd make it easier, since i could make AT guns only penetrate up to X level of armor, but currently there's only 3 types of armor, light medium and heavy. Heavy is essentially ALL tanks.
Sticking with the SLAM-R for the high-velocity / low damage AT then... no offence. Very nice weapon variety, animation and skin tho :)
Why gun mods have personality but every AT weapon obliterates a jeep, an APC, and 2-shots a tank.... always.
