@ashen
I know. Often we happen to be in admin mode when testing mods we are making. If you do that, you may not realize that you overlooked giving the player a recipe - because it was available to you.

But most players don't play in admin mode, so they won't have it if you overlook the recipe.
Kerik 20 Feb, 2022 @ 5:08pm
actually thats how admin mode is supposed to work. it temporarily unlocks all recipes until disables.

Finally fixed it. Cheers lads.
bk3000 12 Nov, 2020 @ 11:35am
In admin mode, they'd be available even if you haven't actually given players the recipe in player.config.patch
I've made that mistake before. Since I typically test things in admin mode, and so don't realize I forgot to give the recipe.

What the fuck? It didn't upload the correct version. Thanks for helping me discover this IndianaJoe.
Mouse  [author] 12 Nov, 2020 @ 11:33am
Let me check if it uploaded the right version.
IndianaJoe4323 12 Nov, 2020 @ 11:31am
I was in admin mode on the industrial, it should have been there.
Mouse  [author] 12 Nov, 2020 @ 11:29am
Have you looked on the industrial/iron bench on the block part? It might be that it didn't unlock for you or something.
Mouse  [author] 12 Nov, 2020 @ 11:27am
Let me check.
IndianaJoe4323 12 Nov, 2020 @ 11:20am
I looked, and I couldn't find the outpost ones. You sure you implemented it right?
Mouse  [author] 12 Nov, 2020 @ 10:57am
The workbenches. Wooden is on the wooden bench, and outpost ones are on the iron bench.
IndianaJoe4323 12 Nov, 2020 @ 10:49am
Where do you craft them?
Mouse  [author] 6 Nov, 2020 @ 10:31am
OUTPOST LADDERS HAVE BEEN ADDED, AS WELL AS COLOUR OPTIONS FOR THE WOODEN ONES!
Mouse  [author] 6 Nov, 2020 @ 9:53am
I'm working on making the outpost ladders right now, as well as making the wooden ones colourable.
Mouse  [author] 5 Nov, 2020 @ 8:51am
I added a suggestion thing, should anyone want an update to this.
IndianaJoe4323 8 Oct, 2020 @ 1:11pm
Climbing sprites are unused from like the alpha or something. It's VERY hard if not impossible to implement them into the modern game.
Mouse  [author] 24 Aug, 2020 @ 2:28pm
True. It's just that I would rather have a reason why it was downvoted if poss.
bk3000 24 Aug, 2020 @ 2:17pm
>I’m guessing you downvoted my mod because of something I literally couldn’t achieve.
There is probably no mod on the workshop that doesn't have downvotes though. Don't sweat it.
Mouse  [author] 18 Aug, 2020 @ 4:11am
Yeah.
Anter583 17 Aug, 2020 @ 1:18pm
Its not just clothing, some vanilla races (and especially modded ones) don't have climbing animations, or kept the climbing animations from the texture file they used as a template.
RegenKonig 17 Aug, 2020 @ 12:49pm
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Mouse  [author] 17 Aug, 2020 @ 12:37pm
Exactly.
AnomNom 17 Aug, 2020 @ 12:29pm
Plus, a large amount of clothing mods don't bother spriting them, as they have no purpose. Thus, many outfits would become slightly incompatible due to not having anything in those slots, so when climbing, they would disappear. You would literally have to sprite a hundred or more clothing items from other mods just to make it work flawlessly.
Mouse  [author] 17 Aug, 2020 @ 12:35am
Still, they're unused.
RegenKonig 16 Aug, 2020 @ 4:35pm
All the climbing sprites are in the clothing sprite files.
Mouse  [author] 16 Aug, 2020 @ 4:28pm
I’m not sure how I’d go about doing that.
RegenKonig 16 Aug, 2020 @ 4:26pm
The only thing I'd recommend, is adding in a patch that polishes the climbing animations, for the clothing, at least. If you're into that, that is.
Mouse  [author] 16 Aug, 2020 @ 4:23pm
I’m open to criticism.
Mouse  [author] 16 Aug, 2020 @ 4:23pm
Huh. Alright then. I wonder why someone would downvote my mod without saying anything though.
RegenKonig 16 Aug, 2020 @ 4:20pm
Oh no, I love the fact that you brought these back! My first thought was just the amount of either custom clothes, or vanilla ones that dont have proper climbing sprites.
Mouse  [author] 16 Aug, 2020 @ 4:16pm
I’m guessing you downvoted my mod because of something I literally couldn’t achieve.
RegenKonig 16 Aug, 2020 @ 3:19pm
Every piece of clothing just died to the hands of this mod
TheSurvivor64 16 Aug, 2020 @ 2:21pm
I think they were removed because the climbing animations weren't good
FluffyXai 16 Aug, 2020 @ 12:13pm
oh my god I completely forgot these even existed
Anter583 16 Aug, 2020 @ 12:01pm
climbing sprites do exist. Unfortunately even if someone were to bring them back, there gonna be really weird & broken, since most mods (& even a lot of vanilla items) didn't bother to make them.
Mouse  [author] 16 Aug, 2020 @ 7:11am
If I knew how to do that, fuck yeah, I'd be on that.
Reebs 16 Aug, 2020 @ 6:09am
didn't starbound characters used to have a very specific set of sprites used for climbing?

irc in the character armFrames and legFrames they still exist

oh well, can't have everything
Mouse  [author] 16 Aug, 2020 @ 4:59am
Climbing sprites?
Rex Anivius 16 Aug, 2020 @ 4:53am
Awh, was hoping they'd use the climbing sprites.
Mouse  [author] 14 Aug, 2020 @ 10:37am
I do plan to add more.
Lukiwarble 14 Aug, 2020 @ 10:35am
i see, thats interesting
Mouse  [author] 14 Aug, 2020 @ 9:33am
Vertical ladders, my friend.
Lukiwarble 14 Aug, 2020 @ 9:29am
But the platform already maked ladders when placed in diagonal. Or you're talking about vertical ladders?
Mouse  [author] 12 Aug, 2020 @ 5:44am
They’re resprited platforms. They’re more for aesthetics.
Einfach Erik. 12 Aug, 2020 @ 5:06am
i always wondered where ladders are
