Hello, is this mod updated? i see a lot of comments with people complaining about the Realm Divide early on.

I just get this mod playing with DarthMod for a while, and I think this is suited for the DarthMod version of the DarthMod_Shogun_II_v50_FINALE_Edition, and this one could be downloaded from here .

And also read the text from above, I think the DarthMod Launcher setting is that, making sure the "Boost Option" the "Ashikaga Boost Off".

The DarthMod in Steam Workshop version seems not to have the launcher, so install this from the other way.

It wasnt clear on what to tick in the launcher to paly this with Darthmod launcher. What do I tick to play with the DMS launcher? Also, what version of darrthmod does this include standalone, the workshop version?

Have a problem where Realm divide hits very fast. Not sure if all the new cities are just piling up my repuation faster, but with my aggressive play, I'm hitting Realm divide in 1549. ANy ideas on how to mitigate this?

I my last game, I didn't fight that many battles, relying on agents to cause revolts, then taking on the rebels. Had I continued after 6 provinces, 8 with the addtion of Mogami vassal, I'd have triggered Realm Divide again at 12 or 13 provinces. Alliances could help, but when facing 20+ factions, some with 20+ territories, along with lousy AI, it's a grind on Legendary - especially if one is playing a clan far from Kyoto.

It doesent depend on it, the reason is because you became renown, you won many battles it seems.

I'm having a hard time understanding why you didn't raise the prestige levels at which Realm divide is triggered. After conquering a tiny portion of central honshu as the Takeda clan, I was at war with the other 67 clans. Holding just 12 provinces should not trigger a coalition of 50+ clans.

When I start up the game using this mod is stays at that trademark/copyright screen and it dosen't load into the game, I waited for 30 minutes to no avail.

@Quillbeatssword: Updating problems? I'm still experiencing Realm Divide at 13 territories. One thing I noticed about alliances, the AI factions aren't backstabbing the player, instead attacking vassals, requiring one to come to their aid or risk penalties abandoning them.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled it, but still can't get it to work. Is the kenin specific to certain level of town? I even tried running this mod on its own. thinking there mught be a compatibility issue with the others, but still nothing.

It should automatically update. my personal life has been taking up most of my time and i never got the chance to update it. got about an hour worth of work left to do before then. ill have it done by monday

Would I have to unsubscribe and then re-subscribe in order for the new things to go into effect? Does the kenin only appear in sieges or would the icon show up on the campaign map?

While it doesn't affect the AI, based on weeks of gaming, the No Realm Divide Mod doesn't work, the event is still triggered at 13 provinces.:steamsad:

I have quite bit to do to this mod actually, i havnt given up on it i just havnt had time to get back at it. Alot of the things i had memorised while working on it (Use of certain programs etc) i have forgotten and would need to refresh my memory i just havnt been ready to spend that kind of time on it again lately but i will try to eventually. In the meantime anyone else that wants to further this mod feel free.

Side note- While the no realm divide mod may work with it i can say if i remember right that that effects the a.i. A.i tables arent merged they replace eachother so using that mod with this effectivly replaces my a.i with that one which will cause conflicts because that mod doesnt have the a.i for the new factions in it.

@Collateral: Thanks, I'll try it with the mod. Is the AI affected neagatively by the "No Realm Divide" mod and how about auto-calculating naval and land battles? IIRC, the mod creator said that auto-calc. battles are negatively affected when used with Darth Mod.

As for building and research times, I think they're okay, as I thought the latter took too long on Vanilla - this isn't Civilization. Japanese fortresses weren't the solid constructions of europe or China, but made of wood or piled earth with stone facing and topped with wood - maybe increasing the by 25% the build times for castles and citadels.

it's good, only a couple of things: i tnink the building time should be incrased, and the research time maybe slightly, since the year lasts 12 turns, its silly that you can build a fortress in 6 months :P no realm divide mod works with this, i can confirm, and it's very helpfull lol

@Quillbeatssword I use that mod that changes the smithing and a mod who prevents the realmdivide. My problem is, that i cannot fight all arround my territory and the landing armys of factions from far away together. Got as Hojo 6 provinces and all arround have declared war on me :( Canot tell you why, but if i play Date, I do not get this problems. I played Date for 2 times and I have finished the campaign at both times on legendary. The diplomatic ai in TW games always sucks, everyone know it. By the way in the campaigns always Oda gets allmighty and until I break them, they are always the new shogun. Maybe you do something to tweak them?

@ShareThePain that problem is most likely caused from using another mod that alters the A.I In order for Expanded and darthmod to work together i had to tweak the A.I to make it work thats why i say not to use the Ashikaga boost mod that comes with the darthmod launcher because it changes the A.I and the A.I wont work properly.

Really nice mod pal. I found a solution to prevent the realm divide with another mod. There is a problem with the ai and the relationship to your faction. If you play shimazu as an example, many of the ai factions declare war on you and invade your land with their fleets and dropinarmys. But there is no reason for them to declare war on you...they are far away and have other wars to fight...also it is imposible to play some of the factions on Legendary. Chosokabe is extreme, the same for Iko or hojo. Would be nice if you keep on your good work.

@Condottiero Magno to be honest i was going to try the other day and got side tracked but it's comeing soon. In the meantime what i recommend is forming 2-3 solid alliances and expanding just to the point before you trigger realm divide then assist your allies in doing the same.
With this mod, any allies you have when realm divide triggers should stick with you until the end so it becomes you and your allies vs the ashikaga and theirs. I personally find this to make the game interesting as you're not a massive empire at that time and you and your allies must work for the victory. If you have 2-3 allies with as much territory as you its pretty much a 40/60 split with the combined enemy being slightly larger overall. Try it this way until i have the fix you have all waited for.

Have you found a way to increase the Realm Divide requirments? Not an issue if the campaign length can't be extended, as one could increase the pace of expansion - I won one game playing as Oda on Legendary, with the vanilla map and Darth Mod.

Alot of the timescale editing is in the startpos and i havnt really messed with it, however alot of people have been asking for an increase in time so i will do my best to make it happen when i get a chance. I havnt had time to mod in months unfortunatly:( and iv gotten rusty lol im going to have to mess with some things to get my bearings. i think im going to go ahead and try and make an update today.

Take your time. I'm glad you haven't abandoned this mod for the other version.:-) Would be happier if the long campaign could be expanded to 1620, as even with 12 turns/year, as the Date, have to do a lot of waiting in the north, due to peace created by regional power blocs on both coasts.:-( With plenty of fertile soil, end of facing stacks containing 6-8 yari or naginata samurai on two fronts, as the blocs ally with each other. In one game on Legendary, had to create 6-7 vassals and only half ended up sending troops to the front.

@alwaysbehumble: This mod already has 12 turns/year - Winter is 3 a turn PITA. My issue is that Realm Divide requirments needs to be adjusted, as you or a vassal will end up triggering it sooner, due to all those provinces.

Just one regret: with so many regions added in, the original campaign time span is simply not enough. There are a number of time span mods having long been made (either 12 -turn per year or extending the deadline); however, none is compatible with your mod. Could you adapt one of these mods to yours? The morning sun mod has already adopted the 12 - turn per year feature. It will be a thrill to see this one being improved thusly as well :)

Any chance increasing the province requirement for Realm Divide? All these extra territories, means more clans to fight, while computer controlled major clans can amass 16+ provinces without issue, resulting in more resources.

@Crestfallen Warrior, As far as im aware at this time any unit packs compatible with darthmod would work just fine, any of the radious packs would cause balance issues. I will be starting on a unit pack specifically for this mod here pretty soon.

@Owedevil ill see what i can do man, tbh i dont mod much this was actually the first mod i ever made and i did it because i really loved Darthmod and expanded and wanted to play the expanded mod with all the awsomeness of darthmod, Lately iv been playing alot of medieval 2 and Starcraft so i havnt really messed with this mod however, when i do start another shogun campaign i plan on adding several submods for this such as some units, a base commander, that will work like a general thats part of the garrison and going to balance and try to convert some of radeous's units to work with this also, ill be adding as many submods for it as i can so people can tweak it for there idea play.

I see, thx for responding. i had gotten it to work since i posted previously, and so far it's a pretty excellent mod. Not to be ungrateful or anything, but would be cool if somehow the "all factions playable at any difficulty" mod could be somehow made compatible. I enjoy playing the underdogs. @Owedevil, correct. this mod works with the launcher (By itsself) it replaces the Darthmod.pack and Expanded.pack, It has almost all of the Darthmod and expanded included in it except for things that conflicted with eachother so you dont need either of the others. All the features of the launcher work with this EXCLUDING( Ashikaga Boost) Ashikaga boost changes the AI tables and makes it not work(I had to make a custom A.I for this mod to work, so replacing it with Ashikaga boost causes my A.I to be replaced, The problem with that is that Ashikaga boost has no ai for any of the new clans so they just sit in one spot and build a stack but dont expand.) My A.I is fine however the A.I is aggressive and expands(Even Ashikaga, once you share a border with them they start becomming aggresive and expanding)
