I believe the mod dev is inactive so reports won't really help much, I might try getting in contact with them to see if I can maintain the mod / get contributor perms on steam so I can push bugfixes

I would love this mod if the shovel wasn't given to you at the start. It would be nice to have one without.

@TreasurrHunterr one way to see it is, you cast a plasma emitter, but the plasma produced by that emitter isn't considered cast by you, it's cast by the emitter that you cast. ergo, it can damage you.

@TreasurrHunter Protective Enchantment is from Spellbound Bundle, and plasma is really hardcoded and as a modder it is practically impossible to work around that. Plasma's gimmick is being deadly to all so I think it's a nice little thing to not note :)

Protective enchantment says it protects the caster from projectiles you cast, but "Plasma Beam Cross" still damages the player, should add that to the tooltip that it doesn't work on all "projectiles".

@Humerror I have tried everything I can think of to get CheatGUI's console working, made minor edits in the lua files, tried forcing it to load the console panel, setting it to true, enable, disable keyboard check, etc, even went for the github older version (1.3) that supposedly had it enabled and nothing works, 1.3 doesn't even show any UI elements to open it, and 1.5 (Steam's version) after the edits I mentioned causes the entire CheatGUI to force close with an "auth token returned nil" error "at line 817". I'm no programmer, I have no idea what I could possibly do to get the lua console working. What have you done to get it to work?

@joey12313 it uses noita's built in drilling bolt spell, you'd have to change a lot of things and add new projectiles to make a realistic shovel, plus noita isn't that realistic in the first place

You can use CheatGUI, then host a Lua console using it, then run the Lua
EntityLoad("___", x, y) where x is the x coord, y is y coord to spawn (can find player coords using cheatGUI teleport menu or using Lua I think) then replace ___ with the path to a varia weapon from the mod's files (you can find them in steam's workshop folder) such as
mods/variaAddons/files/entities/specialty_wands/desert_eagle/desert_eagle.xml

TLDR:
EntityLoad("mods/variaAddons/files/entities/specialty_wands/desert_eagle/desert_eagle.xml", 1, 5) spawns the desert eagle at 1x 5y

could you make the shovel actually hit/impact things like an spark bolt breaking ice.
because right now the shovel kind of just deletes things and it doesnt really dig realistic.

I wish that the shovels were compatible with the wand merging shrine so much. I want to upgrade my standard shovel with a better cooldown time so I can diggy diggy big fast. ;3;

The heavy calibre bullets sometimes crashes the game if they have some modifiers and hit worm-like monsters. Just a heads-up for people to be prepared

Invul status is a little op imo. If you can figure out how to make it infinite its very op. Makes god runs trivial.

Bees might be my favorite part of this mod. They are great early game, and I'm always happy to use em', and are hilarious to slap on an OP wand, to auto-fire and almost crash your game~

looks like some of the spells wouldn't load if goki's stuff loaded after your mod. after putting your mod at the bottom everything works now

I thought the "3 dot icon" spells were supposed to be there. I play with enough spell-adding mods that the odds of seeing any single spell are incredibly tiny. so I though they were just a super-rare Easter Egg or something.

@test, yeah, that's a bug, they aren't supposed to spawn but sometimes do anyways. It will be fixed in the next update

this added OP spells with 3 squares icon that increases damage by 1000 and other stuff. They shouldn't have spawned I am assuming? I have the gokis things mod so i disabled them in it

@who is joe All electric spells, even the ones in the base game, have that electric torch effect. I will be removing that effect from crescent wave thunder though in the next update (as it was never supposed to be there in the first place), so that should provide you with a safe electric projectile

Oh but i mean the latest Noita patch has an ingame mod settings feature. Shouldnt be too hard to tie the mod into using that? Check Anvil of Destiny, that mod already utilizes the ingame mod settings menu now.
