Would someone be able to make "West Point Suburbs and Farm" mod by Forbidden_Evil compatible with this? They're located on the same cell so they override each other, but if the suburbs were added a little bit south of the WP Expansion then they could be compatible

That's due to its age, some of us remember this from back when that wasn't even an issue xD

If you only add a map in MP, it works normally. However, InGameMaps [West Point Expansion] (Workshop ID: 2763522853) When used with , part of the map turns into a forest.

@Ethanplays You can use the PZ Map Cleaner tool to essentially reload the chunks for the first time. I had the same issue of shadow buildings and fixed it by deleting the map and chunk data.

It's worth keeping in mind that, sadly, this map hasn't been updated for a long time (and won't be), so hick-ups will happen, for various reasons, I personally haven't had any issues with the map, but some say that they have various issues with it.

If you added the map after you had already played on the save, then I would think that could cause an issue like that, otherwise I'm not too sure ^^ Usually (exceptions exist) the safest thing to do after adding maps (specific issue to maps), is to start a fresh save.

It did in the past. Doesn't match up well in 41.78 with the vanilla world though, the roads a off and there is no in game map.

No. Which is one of the reason the author has cited for no longer maintaining this map. The devs have moved into the area it changed, which would require him readjusting the mod which is a lot of work.

Does this map include American Tire? I kind of like that store and would like to keep it if possible.

I don't include InGameMaps_Vanilla, but and if you do, it should be first (I think) cos it's the base game map, Muldraugh, KY is always last in the maps string, and remember on gportal to put it to custom map string, been a while since I set up a multiplayer server so writing this from memory ^^

Usually, when I add maps and InGameMaps, I do the InGameMaps mods first, then the other maps.

@Nez since you reply here pretty often, and you've had no trouble with WPE & IGM, can I ask-- what's the load order for your maps? Do you include the InGameMaps_Vanilla or nah? Do you put Muldraugh first or last? I'm trying to do some in-depth troubleshooting to see if I can get it running consistently on a multiplayer server on gportal, I just love this map a lot and I really want to share it with friends if I can.

@stevo588 if you havent been to west point you can add it pretty easily and it will just spawn it, if you have been to west point there is a website called "project zomboid chunk cleaner" which lets you choose a save and reset the chunks of the map you want

Adding MAPS almost always result in having to make a new save. What I'd do is make a back up of your current save, add the map, check if the area is a mess, and it not, well, then it worked.

I'm new to this whole mods stuff with PZ.. Does this map currently still work and can I add it to a current save? or do i need make a new save? Any help is appreciated

That's cos the world map does not exist, that feature came after this map was made, read the comments, it's literally mentioned within the first 10 comments and in the discussions.

The "world map" is something that the map maker has to add manually, and since this map predates the feature and was abandoned before that, well, you can figure out why it won't happen, use the mod mentioned, best you'll get.

displays on map but dosent exist... while im using other mod with is Fort Redstone WITH DOES appear

the mod works if you go to west point but it wont display on the map/mini map and looks like ur just running around in the woods.

For anyone wanting to install this mod; it's abandoned and will no longer be updated since 2020, which has harvested many issues and bugs since then. The map itself is cool, but it isn't worth the problems it brings.

You can try, but you success might be limited, adding map post-game start doesn't always work
