I tried using this with your digital dashboard and noticed it doesn't go past D1 when using automatic shifting. If I'm not mistaken this is because the gear/auto mode doesn't go past 1 in automatic so I was wondering if you could add an option to output what gear it is in while set to automatic shifting. I would appreciate this addition.

Check the wheel spin orientation on their blue arrows, it should be the same for all wheels.

i have this on a v8 automatic when i am driving the back wheels go into reverse and i keep spinning out is my problem or did i do somthing worng

id just make the gearing for an 8 speed another way. for the 2nd mc ill just use a switchbox to enable it

8 speed would be usable if the gearing was proper

There is impossible to make even gaps between all gear ratios with reasonable amount of gearboxes, so that ratios are picked to be as close to it as possible.

I have it set up already and working. I want to tune the gearing ratios for my specific application, which is my semi truck. in my case i need to make 2nd gear longer and 7th & 8th gear shorter

The overall gear ratios are hardcoded to the gearbox lua script, so it will work properly only with values specified in the table. You can just copy gearbox assembly from the sample reference.
