I have some ideas for Star Wars missions, but nothing in the works at the moment. Perhaps in the future I will.
Yes.. With the disadvantage of those setbacks (and me being good at medium-long range but trash in CQB) i most enyoyed the 'wetwork' mission. While i havent played all of them yet, i'd say that this mission is a masterpiece.
Good work!
Godspeed to you, comrade.
I apologize that you have had a difficult time playing my missions. You can manually save as much as you want in my missions unless you have saving disabled in your settings or you're playing in multiplayer. I will try to add singelplayer autosaves to my missions in the future. As for the medic not reviving you, Phycho's Revive requires that you press 'H' and the nearest medic or AI with a first aid kit will be immediately ordered to move to your location to revive you. If they are in combat, then they could take a longer time to get to you. Also, if the AI is killing you from such distances, then I would suggest lowering they're precision in your difficulty settings.
Glad to hear that you still enjoyed my missions though. Thank you for playing!
Try to look at this a bit will ya?
Other than that the missions are easily some of the best one's i've played.
You do not want to know the annoyance of having to restart the whole 2-4hour mission just because some goatfucker has sniped me from over 2km away and my squad's AI is retarded.
Thank you for playing!
Thank you for the links. However, I already take locality into account and understand how scripting commands are handled differently depending on the environment. I just haven't tested my content in a dedicated server environment, which I may start doing.
One more thing. I believe I found a solution to the issue you were having, which will ensure that paramWeather.hpp will not need to be included anymore. I'll just use BIS_fnc_setOvercast [community.bistudio.com] server side instead or a better alternative if I find one!
Sadly, I do not test on a dedicated server because I do not have access to one. I test on locally hosted and singleplayer environments, but I develop everything so that my missions, for the most part, should work on a dedicated server.
In the past, someone brought up the issue you had, but I thought that was an isolated issue. I've also had someone who put all my missions on a dedi server and never voiced issue with doing so.
However, I will look into a better way to have the weather parameter implemented as to avoid this issue in the future.
Thank you for playing and voicing this bug. I apologize that you experienced difficulty playing my missions!
I'm assuming you are talking about Ascension. That shouldn't happen because if the truck is destoryed a new extraction objective is created. However, I will investigate this issue further. It could be an issue with the logic in one of my scripts. Thank you for playing and informing me of this issue!
Excellent job on the mission! Very well done; thank you for your hard work!
I did find a bug, though. Playing multiplayer with 1 other (therefore, 2 players, 3 AI in the squad), we made it to the first exfiltration site and I ordered the AI into the truck and got in, too. The other player wasn't in yet, so the truck didn't move, yet (which is correct). I heard the enemy choppers coming, so I ordered the AI out and got out, too. The other player and I ran away from the truck, because I know that the choppers will destroy it. The AI squadmates were taking their time disembarking, which gave the choppers enough time to arrive and destroy the truck. This killed my AI squadmates, which caused a message to display saying that we failed because all of Sabre was killed. However, the other player and I were still alive; we didn't get hurt at all.
Thank you for playing! I would suggest turning down your difficulty (AI accuracy and such) if you are having trouble with the missions!
Just mission oriented.
The mission has been updated. You should be able to finish it now! :)
I'm currently making episode 4 and planning on updating all the other episodes as well. Thank you for the kind words!
Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it! :)
Sure you can as long as you provide a link to my missions that you upload.
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it.
Thank you :)
