Yeah same problem, Steam is not recognizing this file anymore.

I can not get this mod to install
Lunga 5 May, 2017 @ 3:20pm
Leugi, actually I've tried and succeed using your later advice (Use the direct download. Check in your MODS folder if the .civ5mod file is still there. Sometimes Civ5 doesn't extract them automatically, so you can change the file from .civ5mod to .7z and extract it yourself)
Thanks a lot!

Juandb, try with this: http://steamworkshopdownloader.com/
Lunga 5 May, 2017 @ 4:40am
Direct download is not working, nor does Steam install....that's a pity!!!
CássioManobrista 25 Feb, 2017 @ 3:33pm
Thanks, it's working now :)

They never show in the Mods session; I subscribed, dowloaded by the link, by civfanatics, even by the SteamWorkshopDownloader, but it never appears, any suggestions of what can i do?

@stefvanwoensel: in PeC Festivals that are less than 5 turns are always regular WLTKD for the sake of balance. Also, with PeC, Malocas work with all Festivals (it's on the tooltip too).

About Aimberê... Yeah, not totally sure why that happens sometimes. Reloading after having enough culture works for me in some circumstances.
Stef 18 Feb, 2017 @ 2:56am
Nice! Really enjoy the Festival-related build!

The +1 bonus for the Maloca applies to all festivals and not just WLTKD, right? Also received it when starting the cultural festival.

How many tiles near the killed enemy does the Uybabaete need to be for the festival stack?

When moving Uybabaete into city: Does it give a random festival when moving into the city? With a stack of 2 I just got a few turns of festival, but when it's fully charged do you then get the festival selection screen?

The Aimbere decision did not unlock for me even though I had over 300 culture (it's mentioned that this is the only requirement). Can post log on civfanatics if helpful.

It's a shame that improving in jungles doesn't unlock until Optics (with CP/EXCE), so you can only start building Malocas in jungles when you have Optics (instead of at Calendar).

Really cool, well done!!

The Tupi have been updated.

I really think the UU should be moved to Archery... By the time I take construction, Barbarians won't attack me anymore, and if I want to keep their bonus to later eras I would simply not upgrade them.

Very nice Mod, even though the description in the Civpedia for the Maloca doesn't match what it actually does... and of course, as others have stated, it doesn't work for Cocoa.

The play balance is very good though since it adds production to the jungle... something that is sorely needed.

And the graphics are very nice...

Kudos

Ah, at last these guys have a counterpart thank to tomatkeh.
TY 5 Feb, 2016 @ 10:01pm
Could you please make this support more mods like Ethnic Units? thx
The Hoff 26 Jan, 2016 @ 7:23pm
To anyone who wants this to work on Cocoa just a simple edit do.

just go into documents, My Games, Sid Meiers Civilization V, Mods, Tupi, XML, Improvements,

Just add an extra line for the Cocoa you can just Copy paste the silk and change it where it says silk to Cocoa you will need to do this twice, once for WLTKD and without WLTKD you will need to
do this for the Production and for the part that improves the resource. hope this helps.

Hopefully Leugi will fix it but chances are he has other great mods to tend.
The Hoff 25 Jan, 2016 @ 11:22am
please add Cocoa to the Maloca it slightly ruins it now that its in the game.

Gostei do mod. Tem aldeias de índios brasileiros. É possível recriar a época da colonização das Américas com todos os conquistadores e nativos, incluindo no jogo a nação tupi, maias, astecas, incas. Vale a pena.

The Maloca doesn't improve or connect cocoa which has been part of the standard game for a while now. Could that be fixed?
daigotsumax 15 Oct, 2014 @ 4:19pm
Such a good mod! I'm greatly enjoying it, it makes settling cities in jungle much more viable. I love mods like this in which you can develop a different playstyle!
JEELEN 15 Oct, 2014 @ 2:46am
The "this mod" link doesn't work.
Mors Avis 12 Oct, 2014 @ 12:24pm
Is there any chance of making the Maloca compatable with the More Luxuries mod?

This civ is a lot of fun to play, but the Maloca only appears to improve/connect the standard game's set of possible luxuries (things like sugar, etc.)

A luxury like cocoa (from the More Luxuries mod)--which also spawns in the jungle, and is geographically/thematicaly accurate for the rain forest--doesn't get improved/connected with a Maloca--which kind of 'breaks' the civ and forces you to play without the More Luxuries/More Pantheons mods.

Please make this compatible with YnAEMP!

Good news everyone, the compatibility issues with India should be fixed now!
skaz88 21 Jun, 2014 @ 10:03pm
I have the same problem as Hokath. I'm told it's most likely because it is likely conflicting with the India pack due to both having a dummy policy Lua of the same name.
Hokath 31 May, 2014 @ 3:32am
These guys don't work for me. On the leader selection screen their UA has no name, just closed parentheses: ()
The description is [bullet point] civ specific bonus 2
Not sure why this is.
Bacon Burger 11 May, 2014 @ 1:52pm
I don't know about anyone else, but for me the Maloca is not giving the base +2 Production that it says it does here, which really limits it.
Moo Zedong 4 Apr, 2014 @ 8:44pm
@skaz88
Are you running in DX9 mode? That seemed to be the problem for me before. If you can, run in DX11. Also try enabling GPU Texture Decode in video options. It worked for me.
skaz88 22 Feb, 2014 @ 1:43pm
My Maloca's don't look like they do in the screenshots............instead they're all red and white checkered!

Seoirseuiduic you have to activate it and run it through mods.
xj4966, no, no mods for MP.
regalmanemperor 28 Jan, 2014 @ 2:54pm
no, its gonna appear in the mods menu and you would have to check it and start a new game for it to work
seoirseuiduic 28 Jan, 2014 @ 1:14pm
So I subscribed; will it now magically add it to the game next time I play?
