It's decent but at least in English the voice acting is really low effort I feel like? For some of the calls. I came back to this game after a while and didnt realise this mod was enabled. Got confused why the operator sounded completely different lmao

Mod is a good start and it is clear good work was done. Some effort needs to be applied for English editing, some make little sense or seem to make leaps in logic, but I like where ti is going. Seriously with a little editing this has great potential, its just not quite what I think you hoped it would be yet.

Good mod, but it's too bad it focuses too much on EU emergency calls rather than 911 or western call-outs. For example, we do not have "municipal" in the US or Canada, but I still get penalised for sending units to a call about a neighbour burning trash, which can be constituted as arson or uncontrolled burn without the proper certifications, confirmations, and in some cases, contact with the local fire marshal. Therefore, because it is disturbing the local public, the call can be generally classified as a "domestic disturbance, arson, disorderly conduct", all of which requires police intervention.

I will be using the call editors to change your mod for my private needs, but I won't publish them publicly at all. Still love your work, though. Keep it up.

I don't have clue, why people are saying this is bad? If we take a look this is FREE mod and there's lots of new missions. In default free mode's calls are literally garbage.

sorry but it's awful, I'm not even a native english speaker but the voice "acting" is so bad it takes away all seriousness this game had. At one point the operator answered himself.

The voice acting is really bad and conversations doesnt make any sence sometimes... im sorry but I have to uninstall the mod

For native english speakers the bad voice acting is too jarring to be taken seriously, honestly laughed at loud at some of the voices its hilarious

For a Free Mod, I really enjoy this.
(I think I'm commenting on the correct mod)
But there is one bug with the voice acting I've seen.

I think it's the Cut Pregnant call.
OP - You're down in the basement, right?
CALLER - Mgm, yes,
OP - And are you alone in the basement?
OP - Yes, yes. (This is the bug. The OP answers is own question instead of the caller)

As far as mods go, this is pretty decent in terms of content. But, the dialogue scripting isn't all that good, and the voice acting dampens the mod vastly. Much of the time, the voice acting lacks real emotion, and mixed with the sometimes-broken syntax of the dialogue, it seemed far worse-acted than the game's built-in dialogue, and so I didn't keep the mod installed for very long. That said, the general concept of the mod is high-quality, as is much of your content, and I feel like some improved dialogue and voice acting would greatly improve it and definitely prove to be an enjoyable addition to the game. Of course, I can't complain much here, since the mod is, after all, free.

For a free mod you guys do a good job. keep it up.

I had to re-examine your previous comment because it was 6 months ago that I completely forgot about it. If every defect answer is considered high ego, then you have to change your mindset.

Just because you don't like the mod doesn't mean nobody should like it. Your astonishment about the high rating of the mod shows so.

Certainly, the quality of calls will increase if you help us with recordings or treat professionals. But still I will not allow the voice actors to be offended. If this mod hurts you so much, don't use it. It is hard to please you.

I'm sorry my opinion of your mod has offended you so greatly. What I really find amazing is the fact that you'd immediately resort to excuses and passive aggressive behavior based on a single negative comment. It tells me you only care about the ego boost the few positive ratings give you, and not actually improving the mod. If you fully accepted my feedback, your first reaction wouldn't be excuses in an attempt to discount my opinion.

My opinion isn't being forced on anyone as you claim. If you want to get offended by constructive criticism and take it personally, that's your problem not mine.

We fully accept your feedback, but if you don't like it, it doesn't mean everyone around you must have the same opinion. The current number of dislikes is 4 (of which 3 were given in the first version of the mod - more than year ago), and the rest are thumbs up. It's also an amazing result, don't you think? ;)

Sorry to hear how much you dislike our mod. We put a lot of work and effort into it and gained new experience in something new - recording dialogues.

Voice actors aren't professionals, so I think you should know that it won't be the best quality of dialogues. They are just indescribably great people with great intentions. As the head of this project, I'm extremely proud of all the contributors, they did an excellent job. I really appreciate their help to the mod, and all their efforts and attempts to make the mod perfect.
You can always record dialogues with us and show your skills. We believe the mod will only get better. Next time we will reach out to you for help. :)

As you may have seen from the previous comments, the dialogs for What Is Your Emergency were taken from real calls from all over the world, I think it's time to fire real operators.

The dialogue as well as some of the new voices are laughably bad. There's no urgency or emotion behind the writing or the voice acting. Some of the dialogue/options make absolutely no sense, and if a real operator answered with some of the same things in this mod, they'd be swiftly fired, or perhaps face criminal charges. I'm genuinely shocked the mod is as highly rated as it is.

It's just text, not a voice. It's just that Russian isn't fully translated or broken.

Hey, many of the calls that are in the mod are modeled on the real ones. The example you provided is also an example from a real call, but we will continue to change some. And I can't find the example you gave anywhere.

Tell us specifically what you think is wrong and we will correct it if possible. The next update with voices and fixes will be in July.

This is incredibly good mod. However, I don't mean to sound rude, but some of the calls are plain cringy and it breaks the immersion of being a professional dispatcher. AFAIK being a dispatcher means an efficient calls, you just talk about Where, what, when, who, and then giving instructions if neccesary. Some calls from this mods is like:

"My child is bleeding"
and the dispatcher just responded with "We have to help her"

You see what I mean?
