Huh, funny you say that, I actually made this mod after my Adversary one. I honestly felt that my Adversary sprites needed an update.
I have considered updating both sprite sheets to be more inline with the repentance ones but also because I want to improve my pixel art skills. Someday I will get to that and hope they're nicer looking.

like, i just feel like the adversary sprites are noticably newer and more refined than these ones are, sorry if that is rude

Well there is a Lusting of Isaac mod that adds uncensored tits and vaginas and shit so I can't tell you conclusively whether or not uncensoring it would be a safe deal but thanks for the edit permission even though I don't really edit stuff like that (I only ever edit colors)

@blebsmc99 There’s a few reasons why I wouldn’t want to add full nudity to this mod. One main reason is that I might run the risk of this mod being flagged as inappropriate and it might end up being taken down. For instance this mod was originally taken down a few months ago and I had to dispute it to get it back up, despite there not being any nudity at all. So yeah, sorry no noods. You’re more than welcome to edit the sprites to do whatever the heck you want. Just please don’t upload them without permission.

@X-49 Perhaps? It's really meant to be ambiguous. So it's all up to interpretation. You can make Dark one/Adversary be whatever you'd like. You want Dark One to be female canonically, you can! You want them to be trans? You can! It's all up to you my friend.

@X-49 As far as I know, The Dark One is Male. This mod gives The Dark One a more feminine physique to show that this version of The Dark One is female. Hence the term "Body Swap" in the Thumbnail.

@blebsmc99 I have a few ideas in the back of my mind...
I was going to leave it at dark one and adversary but seeing an overwhelming response from people, I would like to continue to make more. As of now, I'm taking a slight hiatus, to focus on College and family business. But just know that this is just the beginning. I was considering doing The Four Horsemen, but that will take a while for sure... This is just on the back burner for now, but do expect stuff in the future. I may be willing to take request/commissions but I can't say that's for sure.

i wonder if we can get more sprite mods.

@voidman I've been playing too much Doom classic and modern and a lot of the death animation got me inspired to make my own for this mod. I also wanted to one-up myself from the the previous mod I made, The Adversary one. So I tried to make this one more detailed from the idle movements/animations and well... yes, the death animation too. :P I appreciate the comment though, thank you for the feedback.

the only problem i have with this is the death animation. a bit too much blood and guts for my taste, and imo it would be better if she just poofed out of existence like the adversary one did. other than that, very good reskin mod! 9/10 stars
