@Random User IRL, normally when in a job like the Military, Police Department, Armed Security, etc, where the government/company owns and issues your firearm, surprising majority of guys let their guns get beat up and neglected (because they aren't the ones paying for it.) Also your weapon, unless your lucky, is old and has been passed down through atleast a dozen guys before you. So that's why. Look at any Police trade in glock online.

I've just noticed, i dont know if it was always there or if its the result of any recent updates to the game, but theres something funky going on with the texture on the magazine, you can see it when you reload. A

why does it look like your logo made a dent in the model

The normal Glock makes you feel like you're using a passed down weapon, as if many guards have used it.

I like the beat up glock more, but indeed, this one looks very nice too.

Maybe because this pistol looks like it has 14 years plus, like, the late 80's model. That makes sense, right?

Aww, man, good to see I wasn't the only one getting peeved about the vanilla one. The original model work is great, don't get me wrong, and the original mats could have been worse...but the back of the grip looked "fragmented" in the light, and the slide looks all stained and gross!

The Glock has always been the "rugged but reliable" sidearm, I'd say as the AK is to assault rifles. But kudos to you for restoring it to its true glory!

Also, I thought your little brand logo was a cute, subtle improvement :)

It Looks close to the orignal Half Life Pistol, Perhaps you could make another version that is a dark Bluey Gray Color like the Og Pistol

for me it appears it works fine. basically like the llpon gun animations, they can require a custom folder, but they also can work without it.
