Keep the essential NPCs filtered out. Skyrim community is full of morons and they may not understand how that could fuck things up.

It's lame that this mod only really worked on the non-essential..

No, if I recall correctly the game will remember it. But eventually it will be reset (as most things in the game).

What happens when you leave the area? Will hostile NPC's that surrender become hostile again?

i would like to make them my slaves >:3

Thanks :)

This mod is great! I never liked the feeling that the NPCs were always lying when they said "I submit!". It also leads to some hilariously awkward moments where you can just kind of hang out with bandits after killing most of their group. Awesome work on this.
K-Bucko 17 May, 2014 @ 11:54pm
it didnt work for me i tried on like 50 bandits

Hmm... I currently filter out essential NPCs maybe I shouldn't do that.

what about a mod for the npc's you cannot kill yet you beat em down and they catch their breath and then proceed to chase you all over Skyrim ! Talk about a grudge~!

I use the same method as Wet & Cold (pretty popular mod), there is a specific check for the companion's quest in there. Should you really still have issues I'd recommend using the Brawl Bug Patch [www.nexusmods.com] which is a good idea in any case. There really is nothing else I could do short of me including that in the bsa which I don't really wanna do.

I see the note about brawls...but when I use this mod brawls don't perform correctly. The Companions first test brawl, he keeps saying we don't use magic here, and in the brawl in Inn close by, the nord draws a sword in the middle of the brawl. When I remove this mod both these brawls work properly.

"why would he run away or stop fighting?"

Because they don't want to die, you already almost killed them, in cases like bandits they want easy money and not scars.

If you want to make it real... mod it so people flee when half there numbers are dead regardless of injury. If 10 guys are fighting 1 and he kills 5 I am certain the last 5 are saying screw this we don't stand a chance against this monster. They certainly wouldn't be getting back up from bleedout when 3 of them are left to fight to the death.

Awesome! That's good to know.
hugo2dog 3 Feb, 2014 @ 5:10am
Thank you very much for the swift patch, brawling now works perfectly, without guard intervention :)

Thanks for the info. I'm using this Brawl Bug Patch [www.nexusmods.com] because without this that bug always happens to me (independantly of my mod). I don't know which mod is doing that so I couldn't test it. I had implemented a fix for it but the tutorial was vague in how you were supposed to do it. I've updated and have it now like Wet & Cold, so I'd guess that's it's supposed to be done. If you can spare the time I'd be grateful to know if it fixed it.

I can now confirm, when I switched this mod out for 'I Yeild! I Yeild!' the bug was no longer there
hugo2dog 3 Feb, 2014 @ 1:43am
I am not completly sure, but when I have this mod installed guards attack during brawls.
Could you confirm (or not) that this is the case?

Thanks

Like the mod. I've been REALLY annoyed that bandits will scream "No more I yield I yield" and then stab me in the face. Dude, I'm spiky with daedric plate and a big fuckoff hammer, quit already!
Gord0n  [author] 31 Jan, 2014 @ 8:58am
You're welcome, haha.
Majestät 31 Jan, 2014 @ 7:53am
I don't give a damn if they yield or not. Imma kill them anyway. I'm not gonna give any mercy when they don't give any mercy to me. So I can survive without this mod, but thanks anyway.

@CheesyWeesy i remember my first time fighting someone he yielded and i put my sword through him without realizing that hed stopped fighting... then i thought it odd that hed fallen down....
Lomhow1234 28 Jan, 2014 @ 8:35pm
Cool thing that fits combat and lore, nice *thumbs up*
Cheesy Weesy 28 Jan, 2014 @ 5:46pm
Very usefull :) I remember the first time someone "yielded" to me, so I walked away, and they got up and backstabbed me.
Gord0n  [author] 27 Jan, 2014 @ 4:55pm
When an enemy really yields they won't be attacked by followers with my mod.
Phileksa 27 Jan, 2014 @ 11:29am
I've always thought a proper "yield" would give you the option of having them join your party. -.- Of course, if such a mod where to be made, it would require a global "cease fighting" order as soon as someone did. My party tends to behead people who yield!
