My opinion, should add the ability for enemies to spawn light vehicles too, barring arty. Feels weird seeing GRM with no technicals

Infantry supported by light vehicles could be really fun :P
maybe the really special rare vehicle could be something like a brdm or btr80?

I second BOT Alexander, another mod allowing light skin vehicles would be nice, like an insurgent combat mod, currently conquest is broken in vanilla, I had 4 T-55s roll up on first wave

anyone have an issue where the x/100 counter for flag capture no longer ticks up on defense or offensive missions? I cant win defense missions and offense missions just become a waiting game as i slowly kill everyone enough to get on the flags

As for waves, you can still sprinkle specific waves in between, such that you don't have to have 12 infantry waves in one go. You can interleave them with rest of units so that they appear rather nicely.

For artillery you modify list to take any such units out.

Now, I outlined simple approach. You can also introduce additional Lua variables, such as I have done to introduce 'skipPossible = true' so that I can reduce spawn rate of tanks in Conquest Unhinged in half. That requires additional programming to achieve ratio. You can also introduce modulus component so that you can have better control, aka add tank every three or four rounds only (keep tank counter separate from waves)

@Darcy Take a look at normal Conquest Unhinged mod. Look for /resource/script/multiplayer/bot.data.purchase.conquest.lua where all units are defined. Essentially you have waves of enemies that can be repeated. But let's say you want to achieve your ideal ratio: wave would correspond to 5% and there are 20 waves in 100%

First wave would be infantry only, repeated 12times.
Second wave would be light vehicles, repeated four times.
Third wave would be medium vehicles, repeated two times.
Fourth wave would be tank vehicles, repeated one time.

but I've been trying to figure out how to make it so that the enemy is:
65% infantry
20% light vehicles
10% medium vehicles
5% heavy tank
0% artillery

@skyart that would involve reworking literally all the maps I think to put more flags on... just like the devs had to for this recent patch they did. (e.g. see the defence research they added to the research tree in conquest mode).
if you select the very long campaign option you'll actually get larger maps with more flags on the right as you progress anyway.

Its missions where there is 5 to 10 flags to take from the enemy, to complete the mission you have to take all flags, the enemy has only these units without much reinforcement, the player starts with few units and gains points when he takes a flag.
it is very slow game because ressources are scarce and the enemy is overpowered but he doesn t attack with endless waves.
It would go well with the conquest mode where you could keep the same surviving units after each mission.

@Bigs2013 Try disabling all mods. Then restart game. Enable just this mod and see if that works. It is possible that mod switching has left some old files around. You really need to purge all mods out and start fresh.

On another note. This mod should also enable infantry only gamemode for skirmish vs AI.

btw on a completely unrelated note:

when i first looked at the mod i was confused as to what exactly was meant by "infantry edition" as in more/only infantry? less vehicles? same vehicle number but extra infantry? etc.

So maybe idk...:

Love it for avoiding 250m tank duels which cant damage each other but ai got infinite ammo while im loosing supply with every shot

A Downside would be that you dont get to recover enemy vehicles but thats self-explanatory

And because there still are AT-infantry it wont be a simple "gun-down" since if you dont have heavy armor chances are one at guy can completely anihilate your fancy btr so it isnt unfair
(also because they get tons of infantry due to lost vehicle expenses aswell as 4.0x resources)

@White @mareeek.s Checkout out latest version. So far I see only infantry. I've removed even infantry trucks since they give quite a bit of advantage for moving troops around map for AI.

@White Make sure you don't have any other conquest mods enabled. Especially if you were using normal Conquest Unhinged mod. You need to have them disabled, since they will override behavior of this mod in terms of units available to AI.

Thanks for making this, im on my second conquest match and they enemy is still spawning vehicles. This is the only mod i have active.
