The main difference is that the Lahti fires a much bigger bullet than the rest, so we didn't feel like nerfing it with the other rifles. If its nerfed it'll be on its own

This weapon should be updated like other anti tank rifle like ptrd. Other anti tank guns damage are all nurfed in long range

Btw we're actually rebalancing them but they'll still be 2 shots, just that the 2 shot capability will be lost at around 100 meters or so

All of my AT rifles are set to 2 shot tanks since there's no real way to balance them. Irl you'd have to aim at specific components inside the tank to do damage, hence in theory a single shot could disable a tank if lucky.
But in game it works with healthbars, so i didn't want to make tanks bullet sponges (thus, all AT weapons of our project destroy tanks in 2 shots)

No offense to the mod-maker, again great job putting things together, Lahti was always so epic, the iconic skid AT-rifle lmao

In reality, the biggest problem here is that the game works with HP bars, which makes balancing AT rifles impossible, since irl you'd be aiming at stuff like engines or crewmen and not just at the tank itself

Well, the problem is that this has to be balanced against something.
If it did 500 damage it'd take 6 shots to destroy a tank or APC, but also to destroy most of our WW2 light tanks.

This gun does way too much damage, its offputting. Yes it was somewhat effective against very light armor but this mod's damage is very exaggerated

Because it does 1800 damage,a headshot is like 2,5 times the damage iirc,thus it's basically 5k damage per shot

The gun is 60Kg loaded,erazer and i decided that the best way to balance a gun that was literally impossible to carry by a single person in real life was making it so you had to deploy it instead of being able to hip fire,like we did so long ago on the rocket propelled launchers
