And to be clear, NO, you may not re edit and republish in any way, unlisted or otherwise, as we have outlined above.
On another note, I had an idea on a small possible mini-expansion that would add a sort of "Tier 2" equivalent to the engines. Would you mind if I put together the SBCs to submit to you? (Not posting or sharing it at all, just for you to review and use if you like. Maybe through GoogleDocs, Github or Discord or whatever is secure and easiest for you.)
I can also add in the BlockVariant data and the InventoryFill data (Small engine) and hopefully save you a little work. I am trying to get more into serious modding. It's a lot of fun and if I can cut down on the headache and drudgery for you, while I tinker about, I'd be happy to!
I have never seen the ~0.01 thing before but if I had to take a wild guess I would say it's probably because the assembler use using Steel Plate components like an ingot and I don't think Keen had the foresight to expect people to make mods where you could use only part of a component.
Thanks so much for getting back to me so quickly! With what you said, the results I am seeing make much more sense now. =-D
One thing I have noticed though, since the blueprint has an output of 0.75 BioFuel with 3 Steel Plates in the recipe, the BF Producers aren't taking an even 4 SPs to make 1 BF. SE is doing some weird CommonCore style math that leaves a fraction of a SP left over. "~0.01" When using a large number of producers you end up with tons of these SP fragments all over the inventory. They don't automatically stack. You have to manually gather them up.
Could this maybe be fixed by changing the formula to 1000 Org + 4 SPs = 1 BF @ 2000s ?
I was constantly pulling in 4.000 Organics immediately and filled up that way.
Had to disable the conveyor system in order to make space and put some steel plates in.
I mean I think adding an organics producer that eats uranium and gravel would be nice, too.
Is it intentional that there's no conveyor ports on the producer or generator? The producer is slow enough that hand-loading it with materials isn't too much work, but curious if piping them up was on the to-do list of updates for the mod?
