just a headsup, the stats you put on the holsters and scabbards don't seem to do anything as they're intended to be put on the weapons themselves. stats that i found do work are melee dodge chance, aiming time and shooting accuracy

I've noticed that the stats on the holsters increase the cooldown on weapons, I'm sure that isn't intentional

I just noticed that some of these have +CD which increases the time it takes to attack.

Would it be possible to make a purely cosmetic version of this mod? I love the idea of seeing the weapons holstered/sheathed while undrafted, but don't want to have to craft the item or have it take up a slot (I also use a shield mod)

Added 2 new items. A quiver and an axe scabbard. I will be back with more holsters and scabbards tomorrow probably.

Hey! Maybe you could look at the mod "Sheath your Sword", and see how they remove the swords from the sheaths when drafted?

How about an empty holster, with a tiny increase to storage capacity? Just for the Aesthetics of it. Love this mod, by the way!

@TheAndrew1987 It won't conflict with combat mods like simple sidearms (not sure about CE tho). As a matter of fact, this mod doesn't change anything about weapons, it's simply an apparel mod designed to make your colonists look cool when you're not drafted.

does it work with simple sidearms? i have my colonists with a main weapon and then a knife as a secondary for close combat since its better than using their fists.

Can we equip multiple scabbard / holsters, or can we have a multi-function holster? Since I use simple sidearms, that might be a good thing for my endgame colonists to be able to fire their charge rifles and swing their longswords a bit quicker.

I'm planning on updating this mod someday with new holsters and scabbards

Here is what i have planned:

- Shotgun scabbard
- SMG holster
- Spear Scabbard
- Axe Scabbard (Axes from Vanilla Weapons Expanded)

Stuff I *might* add:

- Bandolier
- Slug Bandolier
- Grenade Bandolier (Like Demoman from TF2)

you could try to make your sheathes as overlay texture, which is shown together(above) any carried weapon when undrafted. i mean u could just make some belt that fits everything for modded weapons of unknown size, or make them shown on the body without any sheath. modders could make their weapon-mods compatible with this then, so their weapons get fitting sheaths^^

@lbmaian nevermind. the framework only allows you to make sheaths for weapon mods. my mod is essentially just an apparel mod. i mean, i could theoretically make link my sheaths to every weapon that exists in the game. but that would make every item look like a sheath instead of the actual item.

Chill peeps. Definitely like how this looks and I'll keep an eye on if you can solve the drafting->unholstering situation. Would definitely be a boon for us Camera+ users and streamers. Will keep it on my short list for my next mod-adding wave.

It would be pretty cool if you could get a version of this mod to work with Combat Extended, lowering Bulk on weapons so Pawns can carry weapons without crafting speed being effected. I saw you alluded to the fact you're probably still learning to mod so I'll follow to see how things go!
