@darkka129 "Cantons for Colonial Flags" also seems to break this mod by making all the cities and units turn pitch black. No clue why.

Feels wrong to play EU4 without this mod ^^ Any chance of compatibility with Flogi's RNW Adjustments Whole World Generation Addon? The oceans are full of towns and castles!

@Sulphur, the mod works for me, though I have a problem with the buildings being all black on the map. But I don't have any error messages, so that's good.

Hello,when i only load this mod ,only political map modes works properly,all other map modes makes the provinces completely black (but 3d model and font appears correctly),is there any method to fix it?thanks a lot.

To get rid of the incompatibility message, you need to use the string "supported_version="v1.37.2.0" and not "supported version="1.37.2", otherwise the game detects the outdated mod.

it works for 1.37.2, I can't seem to get rid of the incompatibility message.
I don't think it interferes with anything in Ante Bellum, let met know if it doesn't, then I'll try to add it to my compatch mod.

Hello, in the "descriptor.mod" file you need to use the string "supported_version="v1.37.2.0" and not "supported version="1.37.2", otherwise the game detects the outdated mod.

Just updated to 1.37.2, the wasteland terrain is devoid of colour now when you deactivate the fill-in colour according to neighbouring provinces so if you activate it it it's a sad grey.

is this compatible with linux? map staggers on zoom in, all mountains appear inside out and pitch black, bldg are okay though.
Nvidia proprietary drivers are in use.

I don't know why, but since today's update ALL the 3D models on the map (buildings, units, ships, flags) appear completely black.

This mod doesn't add any new provinces or tags, this is purely a graphical mod

Does this pack include changes of "Lux in Tenebris" mod ? as you know, "Lux in Tenebris" adds new provinces and nations and other changes to the game.

Hey! Thanks for the feedback on the fog of war, but I don't really like it personally :)
But you can definitely change the settings back like in Ad Lucem yourself!
go to the mod folder > gfx > FX> constants.fxh and change the 'FOW' values at the botttom of the file back to the settings from Ad Lucem

@Ranixcz and Private Parts, you can always remove the border files or add a different border mod if you like.
mod directory > 2208088403 > map > Terrain
and replace or remove all the 'border' files

look great but would be there version with just country borders ? this version has just too many lines for my liking. like is really necessary to have province borders with state borders and country borders ? it is just too much lines for me. but love semi-transparent political map mode

thank you, was just pointing that out because (seasons indeed) with prussia it's a lot more visible than others, but i'll be fine, also a level of messing around i can't afford with my modest knowledge ahaha

@aieljenn - there is a seasonal filter, but that is also a base game application. There is also snow that occurs seasonally, so perhaps the combination of the two affects the color.
Perhaps if you mess around in the mod's constants file you could get a result you're happy with.

You can find that in <mod folder>\gfx\FX\constants.fxh (make a backup first ofc)

if you want to instantly reload the effects you altered, go to command console and type in
reload constants.fxh'

The mod is amazing but i'm not a fan of the screen looking so busy due to the white border lines (sea and inland) and the white names, is there a tweak i can do myself to revert them to their orginal colour?

it is like the blue is affected somehow by the variations of terrain season. i'm not crazy, please believe me ahah, it goes from light blue to dark blue to almost grey ciclically

@aieljenn, I am not sure what you mean, but if it is the country's actual color that changes, this mod is not causing the problem (does not alter nation colors)

Because it is ironman compatible, and has been since its inception over 3 years ago...
Disable whatever other mods you are running until you find the actual culprit, this is not the one that's causing the issue.

Temporarily reverted to previous version, as the files from Colonial Cantons seemed tro cause the issue that turned province flags white. Working on fix.
