Might be just some mod conflict with one of the ones your using.

Hugslog if you want it, no idea what conflict or what would have caused it, happy to try different combos if you want help solving.
I believe you are getting these errors due to 'Hospitality' not being made for these two new factions.
And I also get "No string files for Names/RimirianEmpireTown." during world generation.

Hmm, well I suppose your right, and I will now put in a description with their starting relations.
If so, it may be better to put it on the description to let people know, just as a heads-up for others.
(1)
"Could one of these be changed from Empire to Dynasty in their name? So as to easier differentiate them both in-game and in the workshop?"
Hmm, well... All that you have to do is put the cursor on the mod and it will tell it's name along with a bit of it's description. And in game there is a faction button as well that tells you about the factions and their names along with who they are at war with and their leaders.
So will I change it to dynasty? The answer is no. And like I said, we really don't know that much about the empire, and for all we know they may actually elect their emperors by high profile individuals within the empire. Perhaps it could even be something to that of the Holy Roman Empire in the way of electing their leaders for example.
(2)
Perhaps that could be the very reason why the main empire faction is led by a 'High Stellarch' instead of an emperor. For perhaps during their conflict, their emperor died and they had no candidates to take the position. So perhaps some board of sorts had to elect a prominent Stellarch to lead them in this crisis of theirs. And perhaps once this Stellarch was elected to lead them, he was then named as 'High Stellarch' as to let others know about his new position of power within the now fragmented and demoralized nation he is now to lead.
So… With this, a civil war to happen seems to be very plausible. With others blaming the new appointed High Stellarch with everything that has happened to them thus far, and with others then breaking off to ‘restore’ and ‘bring back’ the empire to its former glory with the others then electing their own High Stellarch to lead them along with others electing a new emperor to lead them as well.
(3)
Thus the Rimarian Empire and the Rimirian Empire was born. With the Rimarian Empire being led by an elected High Stellarch, while the Rimirian Empire is being led by a newly elected emperor, with the hopes of bringing the empire back to its former glory. Whatever the cost.
Could one of these be changed from Empire to Dynasty in their name? So as to easier differentiate them both in-game and in the workshop?
And as for the written form, don't bother responding to this part because we'll just clutter the comment section more and we don't need that at this point, but for me at least, it's so common for people to not care so much when writing comments on the internet that your fully detailed and explained way of writing gives off that impression. And some other things but at this point, meh, it doesn't matter.
Gonna take it for a spin in a few moments, if anything weird happens I'll let you know
(1)
"I'm asking if there's any problem just to be sure I don't screw up a save of mine"
Since these two bring in two new factions, you will have to start a new game for them to work.
"the person who makes the empire could name it after themselves, a place, a System, or just make a name up"
Well... You're not wrong about a person naming their faction after themselves. Yet in this game the names are random and you also don't know about any systems either, only that the planet that you're on is just known as a rimworld. And since they are on a rimworld, I just named them after it.
You also really don't know anything else about the empire either, and they are only known as 'empire' with really no other name.

"Just calm down a bit mate, honestly."
Well, there is really only so much you can do in written form, and in written form you really can't relay 'emotion' and 'tone of voice' per say. So after what you wrote, I presume you took it as me being perhaps 'angry' per say, when in reality I was calm, and just a tad bit 'annoyed' since you were now the third person who brought this 'mod thing' up.
“But I wasn't saying they were the same mod”
The reason why I put it there is so that other people can see it and know that they are not the same mod, and you also said that 'there is no problem in activating both at the same time is there?'.
Now... does this answer all of your questions. Or are there more.
But since we're at it, even though they are in a rimworld, the person who makes the empire could name it after themselves, a place, a System, or just make a name up, but anyway, your mod, your rules.
Just calm down a bit mate, honestly.
(1)
(long sigh) Again no. They are not the same mod, for as you can see, they are spelled differently and therefore are not the same mod. And since they are not the same mod they both will work with both of them loaded in, for all that these two mods do is that they both just bring in two different empire factions. One brings in the Rimarian Empire, while the other brings in the Rimirian Empire.
"names being far too similar"
The reason why their names are similar, is because they are on a rimworld. You know, rimworld, Rimaria, Rimiria.
...There... Does that answer your questions. And now hopefully after this, I won't have to explain this again.
some person: Well why didn't you just put them in the same mod?
Me: The reason why I didn't, is so that the player can choose whether they just want one, or both of them. That's why.

P.S
There's a bit more information on the 'Royalty Empire Rework' and the 'Royalty Empire Rework: Vanilla Weapons' mods with a description about the two submods that brings in the two empire factions that seceded from the empire.
But other than that seems to be fine, there is no problem in activating both at the same time is there?
Condescending?
Its alright, just be sure to read things more carefully as to not cause any more misunderstandings.
Now if you downloaded one or both of them, I personally hope that you enjoy them, and that it makes the game more interesting for you to play.
Now... I bid you good day.
The ID is not the same as well if that is what you meant.
No, you are wrong. For I have them both loaded and it works fine.
The reason why I divided them into two, is so that the player can chose if they just want one or both of them.
I also have many mods as well and it still works just fine with them both.
Also these two new factions will start as hostile to the player, with the Rimarian Empire starting with -50 relations while the Rimirian Empire will start with -100.
And yes, they both function the same as the empire with titles and stuff.
These two mods just bring in two new empire factions the seceded from the empire.
No, they are not the same mod. For one brings in the Rimarian Empire, while the other brings in the Rimirian Empire that crowned their own emperor.
