the national guardsman always got the hamey downs when it comes to military equipment. I mean to this day i have to still sport ACU universal camies with the shitty velcro pockets while the US Army get the newer OCP uniforms with the more logical and practical multicam camo.

Ratnik i understand your criticisms your right but not entirely as an enlisted national guardsman and as someone who is currently studying to be a historian who specializes in the Cold War time period we did in fact use that equipment that, all are from different time periods i.e. the molle vest carrier and combat knee and elbow pads as well as the belt function system (belt and holster) during the great US military funding purge of the early 2010's and the development of the worst US camouflage ever (the universal camo) we did have to re-texture older infantry gear and re-use them for the common soldier and the (at the time) recently heavily funded national guards corp (if you can call it a corp lol)-

Please understand that it's only a stopgap temporary solution to let people have some form of modern US infantry, until I find enough assets for an accurate US army.

It's cool but the models are all wrong, the dont use that vest/belt/holsters/knee and elbow pads at all in any case but stil alright

Lmao yeah i suppose it was a cool looking and functional system and believe it or not the Alice system was really good and also looked very cool but was over complicated and of course like every other webbing system, was outdated. I just hope in the future military's dont go for some spaceballs looking shit
