I don't upload older versions of my maps. Too much work managing multiple versions when I have official content to work on. Read previous comments.

Managing multiple versions of a map (like having to patch bugs or exploits), especially older versions that are essentially deprecated (like I've had to do with Cliffside Old since the release of Cliffside 2.0), is an annoying task and not something I want to spend time doing.

I also dislike the idea of joining a lobby and having to play a version of a map that's outdated and has multiple unintended strategies that have been patched/adjusted in a newer version.

99% of the feedback I've read and heard from people I've talked to believe this newer version of Saloon is a direct upgrade in every way and I don't want people to endure rounds on a downgraded variant of the map.

can the Pre-rework version of the map be uploaded as a separate workshop map?

@ChocolateDipIceCreamConeWorld The vent is for the Bloon drone. You can see the little wall art indicator above the vent ladder hinting at it's purpose. In older versions of the map it was very hard for Guards to get Bloon outside without it getting popped instantly, hence the new addition.

I could easily upload Christmas Saloon separately but as of right now I only bring it around in December.

what a shame I spent like 3 hours trying to access it because i could see the vent spectating! can you still play the snowy version or will they both be uploaded?

@ChocolateDipIceCreamConeWorld Nope. Getting on top of the Saloon roof would be pretty strong. Some other roofs are also blocked off to improve gameplay.

No, the old version no longer exists. This current 2.0 version is the finished version of the map that I wanted to make since I posted the original. This version also has a lot of improvements over the main building so I will not be posting previous versions of the map. The extra buildings will be used for an LMS gamemode eventually.
