i would love if you keep all the items besides the board, because i can't find anything on the mod if i want to use an additive load, everithing is a mess and is in italian and i have been searching for the advanced setup half an hour now

@Combat17Gamer Mmhh.. never heard that and if you have already tried everything, such as disabling the cache, clearing the TTS cache and reinstalling TTS, I don't know what to suggest. If you haven't cleared the cache or disabled it, then it's definitely that.

One of my friends is having a problem with loading the faction boards, they have this zig zag texture and it says that it is failing to create image from token, it was working at first and everything we have tried hasn't worked. Do you have any way to fix this? All the other players can see their boards, we're attempting a fresh restart to see if it works.

@Dr. HaZaRd The rules say that you may add exactly three hirelings. It makes sense that you should be able to choose which hirelings to add - either deliberately or randomly - as long as there are exactly three.

Found a small bug, when playing with the vertical meeples and picking lord of the hundreds the warlord meeple does not spawn during setup. This works fine when using the horizontal (face-up) meeples.

We didn't even know there was a key to take the soldiers out, so we had been dragging them out of the bag. I turned it on toward the start of the session, and didn't touch it until we noticed the problem at the end. Toggling it off and back on highlighted all of the pieces, but it'd be difficult to remember to do that consistently.

@Dipole Ok thank you very much for the feedback, I will fix the problem soon, I need to understand some things about your game: to take the soldiers out of the bags, did you use the numeric keypad of the keyboard or did you drag them with the mouse? Did you turn the highlight function ON and not touch it anymore or did you try to turn the function off and on again?

At the moment the function works like this:
- The soldiers are highlighted if taken out of the bag with the numeric keypad, not manually.
- When the function is activated (it goes from OFF to ON), all the soldiers on the table are highlighted

That said, until I release the fix, to be sure to highlight all the soldiers on the table, disable and re-enable the function.

The highlight function is currently pretty broken. We turned it on in our recent game since we've had problems with not noticing pieces. As the game progressed, more and more of the pieces were missing highlights. We didn't notice until it affected the outcome -- someone had used a dominance card, and all of the other players thought one of the relevant clearings was empty, but it actually had an unnoticed warrior, so we were blindsided by them declaring a win on their next turn.

@Nibiki the advanced setup faithfully follows what the rulebook say. It's been a long time since I opened Root and I don't remember that the rules allow you to exclude Hirelings before choosing. I followed what the rules say. The mod faithfully follows the original game, it has no options to customize the game.

@JackieBearMike the automated setup places the ruins at the end of the setup. If you have chosen 3D meeples, you will find on the map the 3D model of the ruins that can change state and become an item (with the mouse over it, press 2 on the keyboard).

Hey Dr. HaZaRd, I just now found out how you've got the ruins items set up in this table. I didn't notice the ones that get put on the board when finishing setup have two states. I didn't know what was a thing! That's really clever! Great work with this custom table!

Also, is there a way to explicitly choose which hirelings you want to use, or exclude certain ones from the ones randomly chosen?

IE: I wanted to play Corvid, but setting up hirelings happens before faction selection, and the Corvid hireling was randomly chosen as one of the three. So when I got to the part of set-up where it asked if I wanted to exclude any factions from the draft, Corvid was apparently already excluded (not even an option to click on), I assume because the script knew there was a Corvid hireling.

The above problem aside, I appreciate that you've included the other hireling materials so you can easily swap out hirelings if you don't like the three it chose.

I was trying to set up a solo game against a couple bots and ran into a couple snags;

- When setting up hirelings, one of them was the The Briggand, and I couldn't find where I'm supposed to get the the starting items to put under the ruins for him. And if it was supposed to put them under the ruins tokens automatically, it did not by the time I finished the set-up process.

- When it got to the part of the advanced setup where I was to pick my own faction and set it up, I couldn't find the associated advanced setup card.

Is there a way to just spawn in any of the game's components at will?

Hi, is it possible to have the stl files to print the 3D Root bags of all factions?
I tried to download the referenced files, but I get e.g. a *bag_marchesa.unity3d which however I don't think can be converted into *.stl.
I would love to have them on my bookshelf, they're amazing :)

@Crumpetitive I am sorry for this inconvenience. If you find the way and the time, do that test I told you, at least we'll understand if it's your problem or the mod's. Just disable the "Mod Caching" option and see if the mod loads well. In my opinion, yes. Thanks for the feedback ;)

It happened no matter what we did, but we managed to work around it anyway, we'd just have to keep saving and loading the game until it appeared for everyone

@Crumpetitive Everything is ok here, it must be a problem on your side. If your friend hosts the game, does it still happen? Try clearing the mod cache or simply disabling the "Mod Caching" option, restart TTS and try. Let me know!

@Corey I just tried it and the otters are there. Tell me which setup you use and which miniatures, meeples or 3D ones so I can replicate your same situation. Does the game give you any errors when you load the mod? The assets are ok. Let me know!

For some reason, players in my lobby cant see one side of the table, so three player slots are not useable, any idea what might be causing this, is this an error my end?

Since the new update, some of the Meeple bags have not been loading in. (Keepers in Standard set up and Lizards in Advanced setup)

BIG UPDATE!

- Relic tokens from the Keepers in Iron faction spawn in a auto-shuffle bag at the start of the game.
- Added Hidden Zone for Corvid faction tokens
- Added tile to discard cards when The Lizard Cult faction is present. The right-click discard feature is updated to work with the tile. It is also possible to set a HotKey to quickly discard cards.
- Created a second Handzone for the Woodland Alliance faction for supporter cards.
- Updated mouse icons for Woodland Alliance bases and The Lizard Cult Gardens.
- Added missing flat meeples for the Vagabond.
- Priority markers 6 and 9 have been replaced with versions with the horizontal line under the digit.
- Added Mob Lobber tool to the Lord of the Hundreds faction.
- Fixed Keepers in Iron faction meeples having snap enabled.

These changes apply only to "Advanced Setup" mode

The bots aren't actually scripted to my knowledge, they're simply factions that act in a set order. You still have to manually do them, following the instructions. You can read Rootbotics for more info.

Hi there, I tried to play the game with bots, but I can't figure out how to make it work. I selected the bot factions, hit continue, and "no" to all the next optional steps, and finally picked my own faction and finished the setup, but I don't see any indicator of who should be the current player, and also the bots does not do anything no matter what I do. I also don't see anything like a "end turn". The bot's cat faction also does not automatically set up its buildings at the beginning.

Hello! I noticed that two of the landmarks are not flat, while the rest are placed down flat. Also, both the Badgers and Rats have their face on victory markers, while every other faction has VP on it. Lastly, both of these factions also have a big meeple they use for their bag, while every other faction uses a 3D warrior.

Hi, thanks for the amazing mod! I noticed that the labels for Marquise's 3D buildings are wrong; the workshop labels should be swapped with the recruiter labels. Would appreciate if this could be fixed, as it's quite confusing.
