We discontinued the mod because we felt it was obsolete with aquatics. If you think that it still has a purpose with aquatics we may continue to work on it. We still had a lot of ideas to implement.

@grensniperhat this mod is dead, you can take over. if you want you can note the original authors. this mod screams for a revive, especially because of aquatics ;)

Can there be a shark finning and sturgeons (Caviar) and can their be Whaling (hunting whales)

it would have foods (Shark Fin Soup, Caviar and Whale Meat)

caviar, Shark fin soup, Whale oil would be used for trading

Dude I just had this idea.... Since Ocean worlds have currents that runs thousands of miles around the ocean floor why not have Underwater Turbine Buildings to generate energy?

Since this Fishery makes sense to make food from harvesting fish why not its energy potential of the ocean currents????

I mean it makes sense from both a gameplay and logical perspective.... so if its possible you should make a Underwater Turbine Mod that can only be research if a player owns an Ocean Colony

So a predatory species can hunt instead of farm.

Yeah, technoically there is also ranching build into aggriculture, but some species really want the thrill of the hunt. Like Yautja ^^'

I agree with the comments below. There are several Planetary Modifiers that spawn fish. Those should also allow you to erect this Mod's structures. I would also recommend tying the Mod to the ATRS Planets, which adds a Submerged World similar to PD's Aquatic World.

Yess, awesome idea. Totally agree with spider idea to add support for PD and GPM. Ocean type of planets generate some fish/food bonus perhaps

You should definitely add support for Planetary Diversity and GPM. The former adds several planet types with oceans, the latter if I remember correctly has deposits related to fish.

You know when you sometimes see those mods and realise "why wasn't this in the base game already?" This is one of those.

I never thought about it, but ocean worlds do need fishing rather than hydroponics.
