Can you add Chinese and Japanese Giant Salamanders.

I love this mod, the axolotl is such an unique animal and you really managed to bring it to live in Megaquarium!

Due to how the game traits are coded, that's not possible, the Axolotls are too big to eat their fry. There are some numbers us modders can't edit, so I did the Hot/Cold thingy to work around that.

In response to the Hot/Cold difference, just, make the adults cannibalize the fry like with guppies.

@Weldisney I understand it might be a bit of a nuisance to separate the parents from the babies, but that's how it's done in real life! As Axolotls tend to eat their own babies when placed together. The hot/cold difference is ment to reproduce that. I'm happy to hear you otherwise enjoyed the mod.

really good idea !! buuuuut xD baby axolotl must be in other tank :s hot water - cold water really boring ^^ xD but i continue to use it ^^ maybe i need mode for automatically switch mmmmmm good mode ;)

@ClayChuang, Yes, this is intended, it's usually how it's done with Axolotls, as they tend to reproduce in warmer seasons, and eat most of their own eggs.

Axolotl can’t be put together with their eggs. Is this your intentional design?
