Dude i absolutely love your mod i added it in my plublic mod list. And about the audio being to loud you can adjust the setting in the menu, so no problem. ''tumbs up''
=======================

Below is the modlist i compiled, i included also a method to bumb up the Ugrid to 7 without any CTD's. Ugrid enhances the field of view. It work's for me so i tought: spread the word for people who dont know the method.

All props go to Shenson for raising the Ugrid in a stable way!

nice mod but i found it a bit anoying that every light step you take sounds like someones throwing iron pots out of a window onto concrete (i was wearing Lether)

Not a negative critique, I think the idea is great and very necessary, but it needs some polishing. The new footsteps are too loud, even lowering the setting to half. At first I thought the mod had done something to the other game sounds because everything was muted, voices, menus, etc. But it was just the aftershock in my ears after too much hearing the footsteps. Problem with heavy armor, I confirm what others have said. Light armor too, it sounds like you had a loose footsole.

Is this compatible with Sounds of Skyrim? Where yours is character sounds, and the other is enviroments. (caves, dungeons, outdoor wildlife.)

Did you make the other immersive mods? (Immersive Weapons, Armor, etc.)

Great mod - the footsteps always pissed me off too but I'm too stupid to do anything about it. If using heavy armor, just turn the footstep volume down a tad in game menu and the clinking's fine.

Could you perhaps base the sound of walking on Dwemer metal, more along the lines of walking on er...a catwalk? Go and listen to the footsteps from Half-Life 2, when you're walking on metal surfaces- can you see if you can base it along something like /that/?

Hi. I think that the sound of heavy armor is too much. Feels like I am running using a belt of dangling metal garbage cans. However, the vanilla sounds sucks. Your mod is nice, but I think that the hero must use an armor that fits better his body.

It's a nice mod, but the little metal clinking of heavy armor boots kept feeling like it was coming from the bottom of my throat and making me gag. It's really weird.

There are a few issues like that. Another one is the wood stair set in Dragonsreach which is silent. The info on which footstep sound to use comes from the 3D model itself, and the physics property it has been assigned. So that kind of goes outside the scope of what I'm willing to edit in my mods.

I have tested this mod and the sounds really sound great, it really makes my Skyrim experience more positive.

BTW, the tiles outside of Hjerim in Windhelm don't have a sound at all when walking on them. This happened in the vanilla game as well, but do you think you can change that?
svenosman 2014년 1월 27일 오전 5시 02분
Ok, thanks for the information

Every surface now has unique sounds for moving with no armor, light armor, or heavy armor. In vanilla many of these were missing and just acted as if you were running with no armor at all (for example running on dirt with heavy armor). There are also unique sounds for jumping and landing with heavy and light armor. In vanilla every armor type shared the same jumping and landing sounds. In addition I also added unique sounds for sneaking with heavy armor, for the sake of realism.

great mod, you are not the only one who thinks the sound of footsteps in the vanilla version is quite bad. BTW, did you just alter the sound footsteps make or did you add some missing sounds as well, apart from the new sound for walking on metal?
