Alright, Let me just say this. Sonic and the Black Knight has the sickest Super Sonic form ever.

Will you be importing the other knights in the future?

@Drenduh Tyrof Sure thing, go ahead

Great work, this is a really nice model. It's good to finally have this form in the Source engine!
Do you mind if I make a GMOD port of this on the workshop? I've already made the ragdoll for Excalibur Sonic himself and the prop of Excalibur itself. I'll give due credit, of course.
Once again, great job on this port!

@Diamond Darrien I'll have to try it out. If it works just like you say, I'll be able to do a lot of cool stuff

@GameShinobi there's an addon on gmod that lets you use SFM addons, you downloaded. i forgot the addon name, but its something called "Legacy Browser". to use it, you want to go to the gmod addons folder, and create a folder to put your SFM addons in. after that, you want to copy and paste the Models and Materials folder from the SFM workshop folder into the Folder, you created in the Gmod Addons folder.

Okay, two things. First can someone, anyone, please port this to gmod? I would love to do some comics with this. Second, I honestly wonder how the chaos emeralds would look if they were attached to the armor.

@Nitromancer I did try my best with how the cape should be rigged but I came up with problems like Source weight rigging limit where only 3 vertex groups can only be rigged on the same verticies (Like let's say bip_hand_L, bip_index_0_L and bip_middle_0_L, they had this type of rule). The rig for the Mantle became too sharp in the middle and I had no idea why it happened, so I went with the easiest way to rig a mantle. Let 1 bone control it as whole.

As for the Soles, there are 2 bones for this; Sole_Base_L, you should rotate only foward and backward for animating how physics would work when walking, while the other bone Sole_L is just something special to use for certain poses like if it would clip through the leg, you can use it to solve the clipping issues.

I'm actually impressed with what you've done with the Default rig. These are the easiest fingers I've ever worked with. Same Technique on the hair spines too. Very noice. Noticed it was on the Soles too, can't say I see a point to that one. As for the Mantle.....Its cool. but I believe a more traditional "multi bone cape" would have been more successful here. that being said, I doubt anyone that actually would pose a cape would use the Default mantle in favor of adding their own methods. overall a solid 4.5 outa 5 on this skeleton.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS!

Also, why this model never appeared in the GMOD/SFM workshop was because of the broken rig. Might've scared away people trying to port the model, so I decided to re-rig it and high-poly the model.

@Nitromancer I made a new MEGA link because MEGA Sync deleted most off my uploaded files.

Not sure if i'm "removing the spaces wrong" butThe Megalink is busted. Takes me to Mega, but says content is offline.

ya know.....I've wondered why we didn't have this one already. Since this was one of sonic's more unique phases. Thx for the upload. It shall be used.
