yeah, thats mostly cuz she was designed and animated around that model- when it comes to modding, theres only so much we can do and a lot of weird quirks we have to just accept. its kind of just the nature of modding! we're adding things the game didn't necessarily intend for. but it's fun and i think it doesn't take away too much enjoyment :] i know most costume modders would love to perfect these issues if it were more possible for us LOL

The default outfit doesn't have these clipping issues. The coat is a bit shorter and puffier, so the legs don't clip through it. And since there are no big gloves, the cape is fine too. Anyway, I didn't mean to start an argument, sorry about that. Yes, there are various clipping issues in the base game, like the fingers on virtually all of the weapons. But I'd prefer to avoid more, hence my original comment. It's a very cute outfit otherwise, could be perfect with a couple tweaks.

Doesn't that also happen with the default Hat Kid outfit? That's why I was implying that she is already like that.

You can see the clipping in screenshot #2 (leg through the coat), and the gloves are so long and wide, they clip through the cape all the time. Probably inevitable with this kind of design though.

Wait until you find out that official PAID costums like the Nyakuza outfit have missing textures and geometry so you can literally see through Hat Kid's clothing lol.

Clipping? This doesn't clips that much more than Hat Kid's default outfit.

thats because the costume has its own dye colors, so dyeable hats are being dyed by the costume :]

I started to use default hats again and sadly this costume kinda messes up their textures. The default sprint hat is purple with yellow wings, and the Time Stop hat that used to be black with green details, it is now fully yellow with 0 details if you equip this dye.

@bstriiker, thank you! the ability to dye it is a little complicated for me to add specifically for this costume (as costumes and dyes are technically the same thing)
however, should a future mod add support for it (and there is one in the works), you may be glad to know that this costume is actually already set up to be dyeable 👀

Hey while I was playing with the costume here I was wondering if Hat Kid's hair was slightly more light brown/light red was made on purpose instead of her having the default dark brown hair.

Just curious on that while I was comparing default Hat Kid colours with the costume here.

no I mean so that way I can use dyes ON IT, and in order to do that you have to make the outfit apply to her character modal without any dyes or costumes equipped. That what I meant.

Is there a way to replace Hat Kid's normal costume with this? Because I like this more. less sleeves, more leather ( by that I mean instead of puffy sleeves with baggy pants, she gets a dress with gloves & boots)

@Blu Spy, i considered it, but i probably won't. it is just hat kid based after all, and since the design isn't mine, i don't want to design a bow kid version myself. i'd rather the artist do that, but they likely don't have plans to do so
