I apologise for the inconvenience. I made a mistake in replacing the original mod with the updated version and I've reverted the mod to use the original props. I realise that layout creators, using my mod in the past, would be anxious about their props suddenly missing who aren't aware of the update and the Legacy Support.
If you were alarmed by this, don't worry as your roads should still appear in your layout if you haven't already saved it using the updated version. And even still, there should be backup saves in your "Saves_backups" file located in your game files. (Rolling Line may or may not have a backup that keeps the missing prop details saved even if the prop itself isn't installed.)
The new mod pack has replaced the initial legacy support which you can download here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2482894713

man why on earth would you fool around and change things on a super popular mod that tons of people depend on for their creations? Leave existing mods alone and create new ones, never ever change assets that people are relying upon for their layouts. Shouldn't need to explain this.

Great Update!

I have already seen a discussion about someone being frustrated with content creators, because they delete their mods from the workshop. Now I feel their pain and I'm as pissed as they are.

I see that you are planning to update this mod again soon, so there is no way I'm rebuilding my road network with this mod. Again, more work for me.

I hope you feel happy with making lots of people think twice about including prop mods in their builds. I can't wait for road props to be added to the normal game, so I don't have to worry anymore.

I don't mean to hurt anyone's feelings, but I'm trying to get a point across.

@sevenfourslide Here is legacy support so that you can load your old layouts. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2482894713
As long as you haven't saved the layout with the updated mod (There should be save backups in your game files)

ok, I see it got updated, and it looks good, but all my work on the roads in my main map just got destroyed, so I have to re-do it all. I'm just saying I appreciate the update, but I'm not sure if it's worth it for those that already have been using the original for so long just for all the roads to be deleted for a new system

@Tucsoncoyote1 Yeah I was thinking of doing an revamp for the Network Roads Prop pack as the mod is essentially the same as when it was released. If I do ever do a revamp I'll probably be making a right hand side version of this as a separate mod with better alignment and more types of road pieces. I'll see how long that would take me to start since I haven't be focusing my time in Rolling Line atm.

Good system but needs a bit more polish and an upgrade also to North america system and this sworks fine.. Might also be good to have a system with "Sidewalks in it. Alo give option to paint edge lines color as well. but good eystem.. will keep and work on the idea..

i've been recently thinking, maybe the delevopers should add some roads, like in Top Of The South, but luckily, the community's got me covered.

Add one lane roads
StuartsSchnoz 1 Nov, 2020 @ 1:46pm
could you make these as track mods so that if someone makes a quickmod of a car it could drive on them
JoTrain  [author] 23 Oct, 2020 @ 6:23pm
@Will | Lost | Ratchet the Husky I'm thinking of making a revamped version of these roads as the corner weren't originally made with the intent of lining up to the intersections. I'm think of making some other improvements to them as well possibly what you suggested.

I wish these were scaled to the sidewalks we already have in game. That'd be really cool! And/or if they could snap with them

This is perfect for everything
JoTrain  [author] 14 Sep, 2020 @ 11:32pm
@Sniper You can create 4 lane roads by putting multiple roads together, at the moment there isn't any 4 lane intersections but that will be added later.
Simply Lovely 14 Sep, 2020 @ 11:18pm
Right side roads please?
Kpt. Medic 8 Sep, 2020 @ 2:47am

YoungStarNo1 7 Sep, 2020 @ 12:06pm

@Blacknoel You are most welcome

Thank you Sir!

@Quinton Murdock Indeed, you can create American style roads using these props by painting the centre line yellow as it is paintable. Right now only the centre lane and the tarmac are customisable but I can take the road shoulder into consideration.
Avern 2 Sep, 2020 @ 1:24pm
Are we to expect American roads? most of the difference would be the yellow right shoulder and yellow center lines
