And it should be need a moutain too, Rivendell is on a montain with waterfall, and i agree with thegrumpybuddha, too overpowered, 25, tops 35%.

Too strong! If you are going to have other bennies, keep it at +25% culture. Still a big boost -- compare to, say, Alhambra.

I like Tolkien for ever

My thinking with the defense was because Rivendell was a hidden valley. It wasn't a fortress but it's secret location was defense against enemies (although it was besieged by Sauron once towards the end of the 2nd age).
Rivendell wasn't a place of learning like a univeristy. It was a place of knowledge. Basically, it stored the history of the Elves and Numenorians from the 1st and 2nd age.

hmm, i think science plus culture would be better, since its a place of learning, maybe a little faith but i think the tree of lothlorien would be better for faith and rivendell for science and culture, hmm rivendell wasnt very defensive, as in no walls just bridges, its armies kept it safe

Hmmm.... I don't think double-culture suits rivendel. That makes it sound like a tourist attraction, y'know? I think bonus defense or bonus faith would be better (perhaps both?).

Needs to nerf the culture and add a science boost as in the novel itself,
"Rivendell is a place of peace and learning". Seeing as this place houses beings that are as old as 5,000 years and houses artifacts of both science and culture, it would be fit to add a scientific and cultural boost. Nontheless, always great to see all the modifications for this game.

regalmanemperor  [author] 31 Jan, 2014 @ 1:40pm

FerricOxide 31 Jan, 2014 @ 12:30pm

regalmanemperor  [author] 31 Jan, 2014 @ 8:40am
my collection of world wonders and another collection of LOTR wonders
yeah, I made Minas Tirith, Isengard and Erebor
FerricOxide 31 Jan, 2014 @ 5:54am
did you make the Minas Tirith one too? What other mods do you have?
Jjampong 30 Jan, 2014 @ 8:29am
And yes Zuko i think he wants to make everyone happy but not every one has that playing style you have so, basically you sound kind of egoistic.
Jjampong 30 Jan, 2014 @ 8:28am
no, i agree 100% since it's only in 1 city
Thalia 30 Jan, 2014 @ 5:22am
Maybe +50%?
Thalia 30 Jan, 2014 @ 5:22am
Ok.. But it would still be overpowered for some people, like me. I usually either only have one city, or only a few... And even then I most of the time have most of my culture from the capital. Usually 200+ from it middle/late game...
regalmanemperor  [author] 29 Jan, 2014 @ 6:38pm
its 100% for the city it is built in, sistine is empire wide
Thalia 29 Jan, 2014 @ 12:52pm
+100% culture is extreme. The Sistine Chapel was really good with its +25% culture, and you gain it a lot later. You should really tune it down.

nice one
