Sorry if this is a bad place to ask, I just couldn't find you on the Discord or anything
Why can't we get something like that for CK3? I want it so badly, but nothing like that exists. At the very least, we need Lovecraftian religions. So much.
@POMAL: Yeah, a lot of holy sites lack bonuses in part because holy site bonuses in the main game are so varied I have no clue how to make balanced ones.
I had plans for this mod at one point but I'm afraid that I have for a while now largely lost interest in even playing CK3, much less modding it. I foresee only very small updates to it from this point on. If someone with more ambition and time wants to make a larger mod that includes this I'm okay with that, so long as I'm credited.
I just find it a little odd to take up a religion that's described as being founded by a crusader before the first Crusade even happens.
Guess that also only works if reforming is even a possibility and having things still work.
@GrayDiscipleOfYeet: The Headless are probably too obscure for me to get around to adding.
The tenet Exaltation of Pain is actually not added by this mod but is (or was) part of the base game. However, it looks like they've changed it to make it impossible to pick manually. The code to adjust that is not too hard (under common\religion\doctrines\00_core_tenets.txt find tenet_exaltation_of_pain and replace "always = no" with something better), but then I'd break compatibility with any other mod that changes religion tenets.
Different kinds of insanity that lead to different events could also be very interesting.
But i'm just dreaming, your mod is already grand, keep up the good work.
I see (now) your note on overrides doctrine_marriage_type.
an easy fix for me, is to use this mod, and edit your mythos_00_doctrines.txt file with Notepad, and just bump the numbers up there.
Just a comment, for if someone else has the same issue.
great job
