hi!!!! i was wondering if theres like ever ever going to be a little update in which its going to be possible to toggle which values can be uncapped? since the mod is very interesting but i dont really like playing with unlimited orb slots for example

if maximum orb slots aren't uncapped, probably it's if you also have hubris, as hubris does something similar for its relic that increases maximum orb slots

results in a bit of incompatibility

ah ok, yeah (though it can be quite useful on some of the bosses, getting a boost, especially when they have like 80 million HP) :lunar2019grinningpig:

Hi @pgames-food, there are vanilla relics such as shuriken and kunai. Gaining strength/dexterity on card play is too overpowered as far as I can see. In my opinion, finding synergy rather than depending on specific relic is more robust.

hi forkgithub, are you using any relic like metronome or something similar (which increases your dexterity/attack after each card played?) ive been using uncapped ever since i saw it, and it has been really cool to help me against the infinite/endless modes and really powerful Lord Bosses from it. (and from shadow verse which has some tough boss battles too) :)

With these mods the block is growing linear as expected.


But after adding:

Testmod

to that list the bug appears. It seems that Testmod has caused the problem.
I have no idea. There's no relics in that mod is related to the block cap though.

Report a bug here. Seems that block that greater than one thousand will cause numeric problems. For example, if you play Finesse+, then play another Finesse+ (a infinite block combo) with 100 dexterity you block will be 104, 208, 312, 416, 520, 624, 728, 832, 936, then suddenly 1081, 1300+. after then it will grow exponentially (it should be linear through, gaining 104 block per card).

Kinda, but not really. There are cards/relics in some mods that do this, and if you're interested you can try the Infinite Journal relic from Conspire. The main point of this mod is to uncap things that have limits that rarely matter, and for cards it matters quite a bit. So, won't be adding that to this mod

is it possible to request an option, to also uncap Max Hp in some way? (even to uncap it but all max HP is reduced by 50% could be fun to see :)

btw for recent chat discusisons, i saw a card which was randomly created by another card, which until end of turn, it actually gives a +x to max handsize. i only found it once, but it seemed to work

oh wow thats a lot more than me.. usually i can get through maybe 45 cards max in 1 turn
but yes you have a fair point... one thing that seems to happen is that the game shrinks all the cards in your hand, instead of simply adding a scrollbar mechanism (or a multi taskbar system)

hmmm, maybe until that can be addressed somehow, i leapt to that idea, before i looked :lunar2019piginablanket:

oh thats a cool idea, many times even with mods you can get i think 15 cards in hand, but if you have a card that says it brings some more cards to hand, they cant fit and fall into the discard pile :)

max hp has no built in limit, so if you have a way to increase your max hp, you can keep going (until you reach the maximum value of an integer, which is 2,147,483,647)

@The360MlgNoscoper this mod was made with the intention of only affecting gameplay in extreme cases; maximum hand size is something that you can reasonably run into without being massively overpowered. The most notable case here being Scrawl.
