@pitu leaders cannot be used independently
Spartak 23 Jun, 2022 @ 11:45am

@mateoipamo although Santa Cruz could lead both countries, I think that Juana Azurduy is clearly connected to the Bolivian independence, leading the indigenous people of the Upper Peru, that despite the name, is Bolivian territory (including La Paz). She never ventured to Lima, it would not make any sense in making her leader of Peru. I understand Santa Cruz was born in La Paz, but he was first president of Peru, before the short unification with Bolivia.
Kennyth 23 Apr, 2021 @ 7:02pm
I think you should correct the confederation, since Andres de Santa Cruz should be with what is Bolivia and Juana de Azurduy with what is Peru

Great mod! I am wondering about a few things though, like how did you make it that the mod goes to the Scenarios section? It is really nice that it does that! :steamhappy:

We need more scenario mods like this. Well done.

This is an excellent scenario. I'm in the middle of my first game, as Paraguay, and am finding it quite enjoyable. It really does effectively portray the challenge of 3 main adversaries and trying to engage in a war of conquest as little Paraguay. For the first time in a long time with Civ, I am really having to think about how to position my forces, and quickly blitz thru before the other's sheer weight and technology advantage overcomes me. WELL DONE!!!! I highly recommend for a different game of Civ.

@ChooseTheMop I will take a look but it should not be impossible. The initial envoys are unnecessary because the game already starts with basic diplomacy set. The other deals should work fine (open borders, commerce, science deals...). However, Paraguay is not very welcome by most other civs.
SammyFromMiami 11 Jan, 2021 @ 1:31pm
Man I really love this scenario. Just conquered Rio as Paraguay and the Brazilian AI put up quite the defense. I´m kinda having issues assigning Envoys and sealing deals though. Like I´m unable to do either. Is this supposed to be the case?
Spartak 26 Dec, 2020 @ 4:09pm
Fala Alexandre, o Grande!

Good scenarios finally!

At

^mMMT^bno^yTM^b Obrigado.

@Federico Ball You can find very good South American map mods such as the Moda's. I could work out a separate map mod, but it would not have the wonders.
Federico Ball 30 Sep, 2020 @ 3:25pm
Hi, I wanted to know how to play a game on this map, but not play the scenario.
Thank you very much.
MMT 83 29 Sep, 2020 @ 3:21pm

@ᴅɪʀᴛʏ ᴍᴄɴᴀꜱᴛʏ Chile is in the scenario. It is a city-state.
Vicente Antonio Tomás 14 Sep, 2020 @ 3:32pm
i like it, but i won´t try it if chile isn't in the scenario
alexandre.torres  [author] 14 Sep, 2020 @ 2:55pm
Tenho as DLCs todas e o New Frontier. Obrigado!

@jjj : This scenario is historical, it is meant to be unbalanced. Brazil is a huge country, hence it produces culture. However, it has a lot of handicaps that you can take advantage of, such as the slavery "trait" impact on loyalty and amenities, the underdevelopment of most cities, and the puny army in comparison with the territory. As the game progress, a lot of cities will flip (six cities), all among the best developed at the start.
jjj 10 Sep, 2020 @ 11:58am
you might want to turn down the amount of culture being produced as brazil starts of with over 100 culture with columbia with only 34

Paraguayan militia (Guarani Militia) according to this modeler: https://natholeonsempires.blogspot.com/2015/07/viva-el-paraguay.html

Such a cool scenario! I read a book about Paraguyan War which was very interesting and got me interested in South American history.

@R-Minius Look up the South American Resources mod. It would be a great addition.

I've looked already. Some resources may be interesting, others are not so much. Perhaps they could authorize to use some of their art, especially for the yerba mate ;)
alexandre.torres  [author] 9 Sep, 2020 @ 11:15am
This mod is still under development and I could really use some help in the art and 3d models.
@Kites Kingdom : I think the only other things you need to add are chile and the mapuche"

Chile, Uruguay and Guianas are city-states. Paraguay barely did the cut as a major player, but since Solano López is such a great villain that I could not let him out. The problem here is that the territory of Chile was much smaller at that time. As for the Mapuche and all other natives, I decided to place them as cultural influences (replacing Religion). It would be very cool to have a scenario starting in 1500 with all these native people, plus the Incas.
Kites Kingdom 9 Sep, 2020 @ 7:58am
