I love this and the bottling meat mod; both are on my perma list of mods that I won't play without.

Greetings. Can you please give me permission to include this mod in the modpack for my personal server? There will be a link to this mod in the modpack description, and I will always be in touch for original mod authors. You can post your approval/disapproval here or in private messages.

Please change the Mod ID from "Mod Template" to something else. That's the default for Mod ID and a lot of Workshop mods use that. :lunar2020sweatrat:

Otherwise, great mod.

Is this compatible with snakes modpack?

Hello, ive created a mod that removes the world spawns for the jars from this mod and the bottling of meat mod, but im having an issue as I cant set dependencies due to this mod having 'Mod Template' as the mod id, which i would rather not use as this may cause issues with other mods that havent set mod id's, is there any chance you could please set a mod id?

"This mod allows player to craft to bottle fish." I think this mod should stick to that idea. When I tried a game with this mod it adds a ton of jarred meat and fish.

Can you remove jarred meat/fish from spawning in the world? Just make it craftable. Or, alternatively, just make the jars wayyy more rare. Idk I just found this made the game easier.

I've tried unsubscribing and subscribing again and still can't get the option to jar my fish. I'm in build 41.65. Please help, I love these mods and the one for bottling meat works just fine.

Is there a way to track how many calories were put into the recipe and have the same number of calories come out when you open the cooked jar? I tested this quickly with nutritionist enabled, putting in some fish fillets that had 800+ calories and after cooking/opening of the jar resulting cooked fillets all have 200 calories only.

Heating is what preserves the food inside the glass jar. That's how canning works in RL, Maverick. To create the seal, the jar must be submerged in boiling water (or, for the purposes of PZ, heat).

I didn't understand your point on heat treatment and when opening the jar cooked fish comes out. So this is done on raw fish and when it is opened they are cooked? Will this work on cooked fish? Great mod ... My Stepdad used to eat Pickled Herring and I wondered why the jarring food did not extend to this sort of thing.
