my friend is having an issue where the playermodels are appearing when other users use it, in the spawnmenu when he searches "Tf2 engineer" but not when he is looking in the playermodel menu.

is there a way to disable conflicts?

Heads up, the Hat Painter addon was updated to change how it stores the color value, and now this addon conflicts with it. You should be able to fix it by changing lua/tf2pm/cl_worker.lua lines 74-75 from this:

elseif isentity(ent.ProxyentPaintColor) and isfunction(ent.ProxyentPaintColor.GetPaintVector) then
mat:SetVector(self.ResultTo, ent.ProxyentPaintColor:GetPaintVector())

to this:

elseif isentity(ent.ProxyentPaintColor) and ent.ProxyentPaintColor.Color then
mat:SetVector(self.ResultTo, ent.ProxyentPaintColor.Color)

use offical tf2 PM if the addon cant apply the cosmetics (u need tf2 mounted onto gmod and the offical tf2 playermodels can be found at the bottom of the player model menu)

Could there be a more explained and precise way to add custom hats/hexes to the playermodels. The gitlab link is quite confusing and I think that I am not getting anywhere with it. A video could be helpful.
