As other comments have said look great on UK type maps/systems. One of my favourite:steamthumbsup: mods. Thank you.

I feel these are a very great but little known mod!
I use these for my GWR broad gauge lines!
An upper quadrant version would be awesome, just shows what can be done with signaling!

Looks like UK GWR

From what little I've seen, the Japanese signalling system is quite interesting. It seems to be a mash-up between American, French, and British signal sets; that being said, not completely like any one of the three, but at the same time....it's got its own spin on them.

These are useful as UK lower quadrant signals, that were universal before the 1930's.
PS: The only UK semaphore signals available currently on TF2 are of the upper quadrant type, that only came into use in the UK in 1930's. (On the LMS, LNER and SR, but never on the GWR and BR(W).)

Far-off = distant signal. On-site = Home signal. Departure signal = Section signal.
Just adding correct terminology.
Thanks to Claude for the translation.
N.B. to masubo. traffic lights are for road vehicles and signals for trains.

Japanese Railway Signal Series (semaphore Signals)

Japanese style traffic lights are added.
Six more patterns of semaphoresignals are added.
The additional patterns are as follows
On-site traffic signals
Departure signal
Far-off traffic lights
Waypoint: far away signal
Passing signal (Passage Ver.)
Passing signal (Stop)

The waypoint distant signal does not wait for a blockage.
When a train approaches, it becomes a G-presentation.

Appears from 1850 (first).

Secondary distribution is prohibited.

Memo updated 20/9/12.
Add a waypoint.

Added waypoints to distant signals.

Very cool! What years are these available in the game?
mongolteiko 11 Sep, 2020 @ 1:56pm
@Closet_Hunter Agreed. A waypoint distant signal would be great and able to create a realistic absolute block section!
mongolteiko 11 Sep, 2020 @ 1:55pm
Very good signals. Can be used in the UK as ours look the same!

Hi - these a great signals and very useful for a UK format.

I was wondering if it would be possible to: (i) include a waypoint version of the yellow distant signal, (ii) have a version where the proceed aspect is green rather than blue, (iii) on the double signal, have the distant arm have the same shape as the individual distant signal. I realise that I put a lot of requests there (so feel free to ignore) but..

fantastic models and very grateful you made them!
