@Carniak - Would you kindly post the current version to which your mod is updated/usable, in the description? Based on the date of release, I'm assuming 2.7.2, but knowing for sure would be helpful.

that is the main reason why i always turn of auto-best and design my own ships as then i can have many of the same size but set them for different roles
