I have no idea what you are talking about.

I can't fix the issue because it's a really really old broken model. I don't know anything about animations or rigging. I just ported it.

I use this combine guard on my HL2RP server its awesome!
The only thing is when i equip like phys gun or any other gun more than fists makes him get the animation with the melee with the gun and when you walk his left arm looks weird please fix this otherwise its awesome

what about the combine guard he needs a weapon to fire. like a crossbow or something not like the real gun where you don't need to spawn him with a gun

The combine guard i would really like it if you were able to make the combine guard a acutly a snpc instead of a reskin but its your pack s oyou do what you want with it btw i like the Pulse machine gun.:D:

There was one awhile ago in gmod 10, except it was really, really, bad. I'm sure someone will make one eventually. Maybe I'll take a look at the code again.

Well, the npc is not designed to use weapons, or be used in sandbox whatsoever. This is a content pack for an hl2rp server I submit content to. The reason it holds the gun backwards is because it doesn't use the valve bone structure. The slownes sis likely due to missing animations. It's "stupid" because it's a crippled combine soldier with a model pasted over it at the moment. It'd mainly be used with the npc mover tool for rp scenarios, like if we needed one to "protect" a player in RP. I DO Have a combine guard swep in the works, and I may be able to blend that with some npc code at some time, but don't get too hyped up, as my lua skills are very limited.

explain this "stupididity" in its nature. i really don't experience it since i only use it as the occasional cannon-fodder in my mengele-degree experiments.

@werepuppy The NPC is just the model slapped over a combine soldier. It's not for sandbox, this is simply used as an RP stand-in for scenerios and whatnot. If I actually figure out how to make it non-stupid, then I'll make a scripted npc, but it'd be in a different pack than this.

you made the thing an npc, i see. well done, even though it does act somewhat... special. but it's well done anyways. i sincerely hope your progress in coding skill will advance further. who knows, maybe this will be absolutely rocking one day?

Sadly, the cremator one used the old playermodel animation system before gmod13 (the model was also really baaaaad). It might still be on garrysmod.org , but I don't think it's worth investigating unless you plan to rig it again.

Do you know where said cremator is by chance? If you can could you contact a modder and see what they could do?

It is possible, but re-rigging the animations on this model would be quite a task. Someone did that with a cremator model, so I'm sure it could be done.

If I gain a bit more loa skill, I might try to delve into that, but this is mainly a content pack, and doesn't really bring much fun into sandbox.
