Oh Thanks! That makes maps more playable since the AI doesn't fly across the hallways. Great map!

This mod has mutators that allow you to change parts of both teams and the player including speed: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2120656900&searchtext=alternate

Not sure if this is even possible, but it be cool if there was a mod to make bots slower inside structures, or even just slower overall. Unless this is already something that exists and I just don't know.

Amazing map, however, can you release a dark version? no lights, for more sneaky feel, or maybe emergency with flashing red lights?
CLUELESS_ 21 Sep, 2020 @ 5:55pm
hey I think that this is one of the best maps that I have ever played
Sylxeria 21 Sep, 2020 @ 12:11pm
Not sure why but whenever I play on this map, all the bots render as if its night time - dark, almost impossible to tell them apart, etc.

I haven't tried with the default skins yet though, but with how bright the map is its pretty weird to see all the bots be very dark

Thanks man, I'm really glad you like it :) I didn't have a significant difference in performance between low and high settings on this map, so if you prefer the nicer graphics it might be worth playing.

so, in the original (lag) version, you suggested people lower the settings. I had to, at the time.
As it happens, I never really put them back up again.

Now I'm trying this version while still on low graphics. it runs at 120 FPS. MAGNIFICENT. and still looks impeccable! good job optimizing this, seriously. this has now become one of my favorite maps! pure CQB goodness.

I haven't had the problem with the AI on the floors but I could probably change them to one single object instead of tiles. I'm probably not going to remove any objects in the rooms tho.

It basically makes Ai to constantly play that ' vault ' animation when they're navigating the map.
.::ZeroTwoKawaii::. 14 Sep, 2020 @ 1:15am
Also there are too many stuff in each room. it's sometimes hard to see the enemies but since they're Ai they have no issue shooting you down.
.::ZeroTwoKawaii::. 14 Sep, 2020 @ 1:13am
Idk if there's something wrong with the floor or there are just small props on the ground that cause Ai to go up and down crazy. it's annoying tbh could you maybe look into it?

Well at least the performance got sorted, progress is progress.
jukeylukey  [author] 13 Sep, 2020 @ 5:25pm
Yeah, I might try to add some avoidance boxes in areas where bots walk through walls and doors. I'm working on a different map at the moment but I will probably come back and update this.

Found a spot where the bots just walk through the wall, however there is a table there so they kinda try to climb over but the ceiling isn't high enough so they just get stuck.

The original worked in Linux, just the frame rates were beyond terrible. If my machine can't run it, there are some issues! heh - This version seems to run fine (Linux here).

Starting to see indications Unity isn't exporting with DX baked anymore (thankfully).

Nice to see my guide helped! You should consider putting a link to the Baked Lighting version in the original map description so other users can play this one!

Oh how smooth and perfect this map is. Nothing wrong was with this map. Though the original map has crazy lag. ( Both maps were tested on a 2014 Macbook Air Catalina)
Average User. 13 Sep, 2020 @ 11:12am
I have a mac so I'll see if it works. ( I'll update when I test the map )
Yasis 13 Sep, 2020 @ 9:00am
OK
jukeylukey  [author] 13 Sep, 2020 @ 8:57am
No, I'm keeping the original because I don't think baked lighting is compatible for mac/linux users so I want to keep a version for them to be able to play.
Yasis 13 Sep, 2020 @ 8:47am
OK, i havent tried both the original and this one. Are you gonna delete the original?
jukeylukey  [author] 13 Sep, 2020 @ 8:27am
@Subzero.21, yes, when the original version is played on higher graphics, lots of people were reporting performance issues. I wanted to make a different version that would help with that because they were disappointed that they couldn't run the map smoothly and still have it look nice.
Yasis 13 Sep, 2020 @ 8:21am
Theres lag on the original?
