@FunGaming44 Yea I can't find the reason. But it looks to me the coding isn't working but thanks to you I got a way to make 1 just for my personal use . Thank you !

Just checked again it works perfectly fine for me so it's strange that it didn't work for you.
Shingen Takeda 27 Dec, 2023 @ 5:50am
Btw good qol mods . I'm so frustrated about being obese and never think about making this script lol :steamhappy:
FunGaming44  [author] 27 Dec, 2023 @ 4:39am
@Shingen Takeda I just checked and coding is perfectly fine no missing bracket
Shingen Takeda 27 Dec, 2023 @ 4:26am
Need some fixing on the coding tho . Looks like the fx lost a bracket there .

@Daniel Must be a conflicting mod
Daniel 10 Oct, 2022 @ 6:28pm
Like the other player reporting, I tried the mod on a save game with a character that has the obese modifier, but the decision does not show up
Ragewraith 28 Jul, 2022 @ 5:57am
@FunGaming44 Have downloaded the two other mods you have RE weight and have cut down on the amount of feasts I let my guy go to and things seemed to have settled down. Thanks for the response.
FunGaming44  [author] 26 Jul, 2022 @ 1:39am
@Ragewraith You most likely ran into a game bug which i heard from others happens from time to time. Only thing this mod does is add a decision it doesnt modify or change obesity or modify anything at all. It only ads a decision to remove the obese when you have it
Ragewraith 26 Jul, 2022 @ 1:16am
Hi, Mod did work for a little while on my current play-through, but without a decision, obesity just didn't happen. Yesterday it came back but I can't find a decision to get rid of it. I un and re subbed. I can't see any negative modifiers except for the lose weight stress thing when in obesity but that really irritating 'you are/you are no longer obese' every couple of minutes is still firing. Am i missing something here?
generalgeneric07 20 Jun, 2022 @ 3:38pm
obesity is a mechanic that feels like it was going to be worked on, but they forgot about it. it feels like a beta feature, and it has felt like that since launch. this mod fixes the issue by removing it entirely, which i think is the best way to deal with it going forward.
Cloud71 12 Jun, 2022 @ 5:54pm
Ehm i know.. and i have the negative modifier but i don't see the decision.
Thanks for the answer.
FunGaming44  [author] 12 Jun, 2022 @ 5:46pm
Yes its save game compatible, decision only appears if you have the obese modifier otherwise you wont see the decision
Cloud71 12 Jun, 2022 @ 1:55pm
Save game compatible? The decision doesn't appear for me
FunGaming44  [author] 30 Mar, 2022 @ 11:19am
should be there as nothing has changed that would stop this from working
Commodus 30 Mar, 2022 @ 9:16am
Does not appear as a decision for me after last patch.

There is a lose weight decision, but I think that's the vanilla option:/
FunGaming44  [author] 17 Feb, 2022 @ 7:34am
Yes it still works
Joshé2801 17 Feb, 2022 @ 6:15am
does this still working??
FunGaming44  [author] 4 Jul, 2021 @ 11:25pm
Already working for 1.4.4 no update needed
rayancoelho 4 Jul, 2021 @ 4:18pm
can you please update the mod to 1.4.4?
Firsken 21 Mar, 2021 @ 5:36pm
To everyone saying it's offensive;

How is that trait in any way offensive?
Obesity was, and is, a major health issue. Can't be offensive if it's true!
Stop trying to push your modern opinions on everything.
:steamfacepalm:

Indeed. I will use a mod that takes this blight of a feature out of the game. The issue I think is too many feasts, but man, there is no way to be a little overweight in Paradoxes eyes without being bleeding huge and destined to die from it immediately. The feature was obviously written by a bunch of skinny people, and Im not even fat/thicc myself, even if Im not sveldt like I was in my twenties. Life doesnt end cause you tack on a spare tire, people.

@Smoker make sure to also use https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2228750342 that one tunes the Obese values so they dont get Obese that quick
Smoker 25 Sep, 2020 @ 12:12am
Had to install this lost 3 emperors in a row to obese at age 60 exactly. People die because they're obese everyday.
ZoidbergForPresident 22 Sep, 2020 @ 7:51am
Worst mechanic of this game, makes it quite offensive too. :( Shame on Paradox.
FunGaming44  [author] 19 Sep, 2020 @ 6:58pm
@Patriot3791 make sure you use the other mod https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2228750342 specially when starting new games it prevents from the Obse trait abuse. I will if I can make a mod that removes it from everyone or just make a simple mod that disables it. Will be next week though as im currently working on a cheat collection mod.
Patriot3791 19 Sep, 2020 @ 6:38pm
There's clearly something broken with the obese trait. All of my family, vassals and knights have it. It would be awesome if you made a mod that removes the trait all together, for everyone, not just the player character. Currently this is the only mod in the workshop that pertains to the obese trait. Thanks. I'm kinda tired of everyone being a fat sack of shit.
FunGaming44  [author] 19 Sep, 2020 @ 5:32am
@Commodus it is save game compatible but those that already have Obese will still have it, others just wont get it that quick anymore.
Commodus 19 Sep, 2020 @ 5:29am
save game compat?
FunGaming44  [author] 19 Sep, 2020 @ 5:26am
@Commodus use this other mod of mine https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2228750342 it helps in the entire game as it modifies the weight for when someone can become obese. This mod only is a quick remover for your player character
Commodus 19 Sep, 2020 @ 5:24am
excellent!, sick of all my kings being obese and loose weight does nothing, how the heck anyone is supposed to play ironman atm is anyones guess:P
FunGaming44  [author] 17 Sep, 2020 @ 3:55am
@SpicyMeat, will take a look and see what can be done
Spicy Meat 17 Sep, 2020 @ 2:25am
I have a request: would it be possible to create a mod that could stop your spouse from dying in childbirth?
FunGaming44  [author] 16 Sep, 2020 @ 7:10pm
To really lose weight use my other mod which tuned the losing weight functions, obese you will nornaly never lose as its a permanent modifier which can not be treated so that is why i made this. Offcourse it can come back again but then you just use it again. I am still thinking about either permanently disabling it in a different mod or make a mod to cure your entire dynasty.
MegaDregan 16 Sep, 2020 @ 5:31pm
this should be helpful. I had a ruler that was obese and I tried the "lose weight" decision to no avail. 10 years later he gained more weight.
FunGaming44  [author] 15 Sep, 2020 @ 2:41am
It's just a simple dirty Obese remover as Obese is a permanent disease in the game there is not yet a mechanic for it to slowly be cured it would involve writing a new mechanic that cures this.
MINOS 14 Sep, 2020 @ 8:28pm
Can you add consequences like very much Stress for it, and taking it 1-2 Years? Or increasing Stats Day by day?
Shmowder 14 Sep, 2020 @ 5:47pm
god bless you gamer
FunGaming44  [author] 14 Sep, 2020 @ 2:34pm
Haha Adon, that would make life go a lot easier huh.
Adon Kohelet 14 Sep, 2020 @ 2:29pm
Well now my fat characters can lose weight with ease, now if only there were a mod for real life that would allow me to lose the obese trait by just pushing a button.
FunGaming44  [author] 14 Sep, 2020 @ 1:21pm
You're welcome, just made a quick update so the decision only shows when you actually have the Obese Modifier so it doesnt clutter up the decisions when it's not needed.
Spicy Meat 14 Sep, 2020 @ 1:16pm
Very helpful. Thanks!
