@Hoxton hello,If you will not use more mod, I recommend you go to the workshop and cancel the subscription.
Then go to: Steam \ steamapps \ common \ left4dead2 \ left4dead2 \ addons, then remove the mod.
If this fails, check the integrity of the cache: Library \ Right-click on l4d2 \ Properties \ Local Files \ verify integrity of the cache.
But before uninstall the mod checks the integrity of the cache.
I hope that results.
