Hello I think this wonder would be better as a natural wonder
regalmanemperor  [author] 4 Sep, 2014 @ 12:07pm
hmm, no not really
Strider009 4 Sep, 2014 @ 1:03am
do u know anyone who builds maps who might be interested?
Strider009 2 Sep, 2014 @ 10:29am
oh. My bad.
regalmanemperor  [author] 2 Sep, 2014 @ 9:39am
@walraven007
Have to admit that I though you were talking about 2D map art. sorry, I have never made a map like that before :(
Strider009 1 Sep, 2014 @ 12:51pm
yeah. the 1st picture has the best layout of the shape of middle earth, while the 2nd one shows where the forests, snow, and other terrain features go. As to the empires I don't really care, u can do whatever u feel like doing. I have no idea what the empires in the east of middle earth look like so I am not picky if u want to make ur own with ur own unique style.
regalmanemperor  [author] 1 Sep, 2014 @ 11:56am
So you want a map in the style of civ 5? that shows the kind of terrain? no empires?
Strider009 1 Sep, 2014 @ 11:27am
http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?532840-Lotr/page4
this 2nd image is missing some of the continent(s) and doesn't seem to be as detailed. However it does give 1 an idea of what kind of terrain the land is like i.e. forests, desert, plains, etc
Well I hope these 2 links are helpful to u. I'm only looking for 2 things. 1) I like the largest maps so I hope u make it so, and 2) I hope u can make it like the picture from the 1st link as to what it looks like shape wise, using the 2nd link for terrain accuracy

@walraven
I like making maps. I'm interested
Strider009 31 Aug, 2014 @ 11:11pm
I was interested if you could help me with something. I have got a couple pictures of what middle earth looks like and I mean all of it, strechting all of the way south and to the eastern ocean. I am looking for someone who would be interested in making an accurate representation of this map. Would you be interested? Or know someone who would be? I've tried my hand at it and my skill isn't in map making unfortunatley.
Strider009 2 Apr, 2014 @ 10:24am
I am finally in a location with some internet. Ur mods were reallt fun to play with. I hope u make more from middle earth.
buzzshiza 8 Mar, 2014 @ 5:07pm
This unfortunately conlficts with the new Workable Mountains mod due to competing yields for mountains, just fyi. Separately works great, though. Any new wonders on the way?
Strider009 22 Feb, 2014 @ 9:40am
@ Hyde
It was in the Similarion, it was completely surrounded by tall mountains and was considered 1 of 2 of the greatest hidden cities. The only way to it was by a hidden and secret entrance up a dryed up river.

Looks like the king approves.

Deaddragon95 12 Feb, 2014 @ 4:13am
i dont seem to get any culture for mountain tiles like it says i should i get the defense bonus but not the culture
Water Vapor Merchant 10 Feb, 2014 @ 7:49pm
I can't remember if Gondolin was in the Trilogy or if it was in one of Tolkien's other books. Isn't Gondolin that city that was entirely closed off from the rest of the world on some kind of mesa? Or was that someplace else? It's been awhile since I've read the book anything of Toldien's.
regalmanemperor  [author] 8 Feb, 2014 @ 10:23am
@Havoc
hmm, awesome idea for khazad dum!
btw, there is another mod that also does this, its called paro taktsang
Havoc 8 Feb, 2014 @ 4:57am
Ah I think this is the first time I've seen a mod that makes mountains worked :D Now I just need to make mountains give production somehow... like deeper mines than you can make in hills
regalmanemperor  [author] 7 Feb, 2014 @ 12:32pm
just subscribe and it should appear a minute later, the mod menu will freeze for a sec and this will start downloading
sailortroon 7 Feb, 2014 @ 10:35am
Sorry, new to mods, is there anything else I have to do to get this to work, or do I just subsscribe and download?
regalmanemperor  [author] 6 Feb, 2014 @ 9:04am
hmm, yeah , i wonder if there is an xml for reducing unit maintenance, thats good to buff it, btw , well it only works for mountains within cultural borders
Finnway 5 Feb, 2014 @ 1:43pm
I like the extra defense and extra culture from mountain tiles. Another intrepretation might be that it reduces unit maitenance costs, since Gondolin stored an army preparing to break out upon Morgoth when the time was right.
btw, culture from Mountains doesn't work very well because then the city isn't getting any food or production if it's working mountains. It would have to be "+1 culture from each mountain in the city's cultural borders".
Jin 5 Feb, 2014 @ 12:33am
much <3. :)
regalmanemperor  [author] 4 Feb, 2014 @ 11:05am
those that give trade routes or have slots for great works, they are for BNW, others should work with GK, not sure about vanilla
ForceOfWill 4 Feb, 2014 @ 11:04am
Are all your ME wonders for BNW only? Or do they work with GK and vanilla?
regalmanemperor  [author] 4 Feb, 2014 @ 8:45am
@Jin
done
Jin 4 Feb, 2014 @ 4:14am
can you add the description just like other mods you posted? :)
regalmanemperor  [author] 3 Feb, 2014 @ 12:16pm
@aubrey
hmm, that could make for a really complicated lua,
@tman4lom
I uploaded a new version
aubrey 2 Feb, 2014 @ 2:01pm
what if the mod counted the number of mountains in a area and gave you more culture . . . or just one culture per age level . . ..
regalmanemperor  [author] 2 Feb, 2014 @ 12:05pm
yeah, i still dont know how to fix that, but will update it when I do
tman4lom 2 Feb, 2014 @ 11:07am
Is anyone else having the problem with all mountains now registering as 'Ice' rather than "Mountain?'
The Akashain 2 Feb, 2014 @ 9:51am
And this is mod Number 100. Good job.
Theodamus 2 Feb, 2014 @ 9:08am
