I've tried a bunch of times and still have nothing good come from me trying to build something.
Would a child entity be like an elevator? why you haven't added any turbo lifts.

@rabbitfood1982 The project hasn't seen much work since they removed the option to clip child entities. I've tinkered with it a bit here and there but haven't had much time for it.

I saw that you updated but I didn't notice any changes. Is there anywhere on the ship to switch on a warp drive? I know the lightcruise works but it has no range to get to another system.

Please continue this project sometime, this is incredible

I can't believe how perfect you got it. I suck at building. Cant anyone finish the interior? There are a couple not so bad attempts at Star Trek ships on the workshop but this is spot on.

update sometime?

Ah, one of my most beloved Trek ships. Hope you get back into it someday. Love the 1701-A and you made a very good representation

At long last, I've updated some of the interior. I know I said I was stepping away from it, but I thought I'd revert to the older version of the game to continue

@Kranyoisu Go ahead and post it. I built this thing so everyone could play with it. At this point it looks like the project has hit a wall, though, as I was heavily using clipping for both the interior and exterior and that building style doesn't work any more.

i'm currently working on my own star trek build and am using this as a reference. Unfortunately I ripped some modules straight from this build. (the exterior of the bridge module and the neck) I was just wondering if you had any issue with me posting it to the workshop after it is done? I don't want to steal the amazing work that you have done.

VERY nice exterior!
Calvert 8 Oct, 2020 @ 10:38pm
Excellent work, I look forward to seeing it finished
Thoth 25 Sep, 2020 @ 11:40am
Oh okay i see, thank you. I appreciate the response as well as the ship. Looking forward to the future updates.
GundamAce  [author] 25 Sep, 2020 @ 10:15am
@Thoth I am updating, but due to a bug I had to create a new game to continue working. It's separated the updates into a new Workshop item. I'm going to build up a bit more of the ship and then post the updated item while taking down this one.
Thoth 25 Sep, 2020 @ 8:08am
Are you updating the ship properly / going to keep updating the ship? I keep subscribing and unsubbing to get the 'updates' and i see no changes. I even remember you managed to have a whole separate submission on the workshop. Right now i only have the A and B decks update you posted at one point. To better hone in, i cant find the areas of the last 3 screenshots you posted

Iam glad that you posted this version so we can observe how you made that saucer section. Beautiful work mate. I have it parked in the background while iam working on my own capital ship (only cat 3) and every time i see it in the background i say out loud "Damn". Looking forward to seeing the interior done.

Well this is a massive undertaking.
Orion Pax 01 22 Sep, 2020 @ 1:10am
Thats awesome :D
GundamAce  [author] 20 Sep, 2020 @ 2:59pm
@Orion Pax 01 - Yes, it's a 1:1 scale. Right now I've got Deck A and half of Deck B done. All of the weaponry, power components, and shields are in place.
Orion Pax 01 20 Sep, 2020 @ 2:46pm
How big is it? Is it 1:1 scale? Cool either way!
FlyingBoyButterfly {Plowg} 18 Sep, 2020 @ 3:40pm
The saucer looks amazing, much better then the one I was able to do.
GundamAce  [author] 18 Sep, 2020 @ 1:47pm
@Zero E1ite There are seven rotors at the base of the saucer, each one is offset by 11.25 degrees. I then built four wedges off of each rotor in each of the cardinal directions.
Jedifool 18 Sep, 2020 @ 1:22pm
Very nice
sombieHunter 18 Sep, 2020 @ 12:08pm
Excellent!:Khappy:
ZeroE1ite 18 Sep, 2020 @ 11:27am
hey,how did you get a perfect circle with your saucer?
