Would love to see an updated version of this with weapons. Has potential to be a nice ASW helicopter

Is there a way to control the harness from iside the heli? If not, please add one. Also a way to do the same from the controller
Djert  [author] 24 Sep, 2020 @ 2:53am
@Achilles there are two sling points, one for attaching a rope and another one for attaching an electrical connector that you can use to lift things. You can build a custom lifting frame for example to lift containers, or just attach a rope between the sling point and another object.
Achilles 23 Sep, 2020 @ 11:28pm
how to use the sling

@freshwater first grab one of the handles in the door frame, then press f to exit the control harness and then press f to enter a seat

@bigmarine man The beacon locator indicates the distance towards towards a located beacon and if you're moving towards it or away from it (Loose).

Is there a way to get from the control harness back onto the helicopter? Everytime I try I just fall to my death
Big Marine Man 22 Sep, 2020 @ 4:11pm
How do I use the beacon locator?
Djert  [author] 20 Sep, 2020 @ 11:30pm
It's based on the SH-2 Seasprite, but it's not exactly the same, so it's made up.
JoNo 20 Sep, 2020 @ 2:57pm
Do you mean the SH-3 Sea King? or the SH-2 Seasprite?
Djert  [author] 20 Sep, 2020 @ 5:47am
Could be, although I must say that is does drift a little bit, even without a joystick. It should maintain it's altitude though. Thanks!
vonknauss 20 Sep, 2020 @ 5:20am
Well it didn't to be honest but thats probably because I use a joystick. I found out I could trim it tho and then it kinda stayed in position :). It's adviceable to be two players when winching up survivors anyhow, even with a perfectly self hovering chopper :P.. I love this creation, two thumbs up and keep em coming!
Djert  [author] 20 Sep, 2020 @ 12:43am
@Vonknauss72 The helicopter will maintain its position and altitude when you let go of the controls, so that works like auto hover.
vonknauss 19 Sep, 2020 @ 11:37pm
I'd wish you'd ad an auto hover function so it's usable in single player. Great Helo
King Cookie 19 Sep, 2020 @ 3:29pm
Super nice helicopter!
Djert  [author] 19 Sep, 2020 @ 1:30pm
Thanks, It's obviously inspired by the Seasprite, minus the retracting landing gear
torrin 19 Sep, 2020 @ 1:17pm
This flies amazingly well and i love the look of it. Some more Seasprites or even just helicopters.
Eidolox 19 Sep, 2020 @ 6:39am
hot
Djert  [author] 19 Sep, 2020 @ 12:47am
Thanks, unfortunately the MAD is just a prop, maybe I'll find a way to add some functionality to it
Quacktical 18 Sep, 2020 @ 6:42pm
pretty nice heli you got there, real easy to use too, but how do you use the MAD? or is it just a prop
