Please change it.,The fourth and fifth levels of beauty don't truthfully change the beauty traits of the characters.,Just like the normal version of the country and the city "beauty_good_3" has DNA changes.,In addition, some of the positions in the court are not similar to the third level of genius (that is, the normal version of genius intellect_good_3) has the same bonus.,Personally, I think intellect_good_4、intellect_good_ 5 means that there should be a bonus of 10 or 20 to the competency of the court position

请更改一下,美貌第四级第五级并没有如实的更改人物的美貌特质,就如同正常版本中的倾国倾城“beauty_good_3”一样有DNA更改,另外宫廷里的部分职务并没有类似于天才第三级(也就是正常版本的天才intellect_good_3)一样有加成,个人认为intellect_good_4、intellect_good_5也就是应该在宫廷职位的称职度上有+10、+20的加成

Beauty trait portraits have been corrected. Did work in my brief testing. Thank you Zaphyrex for pointing the issue out.

Vseman, it looks like a possibility to add options to the traits to allow for a positive/neutral/negative toggle in game options but it's not something I expect I will implement in the immediate future. Looks a little more time consuming than some of the other fixes I've had to make. I am personally interested as I would also like to toggle the visual components of the giant/albino traits so I will look into it.

Could you make albino and giant traits neutral? Or prevent Giant from deforming face structure. Since they are now 'good' traits, they can randomly pop up in your kids if you go for all the 'new good inheritable traits' bonuses, which I really don't want. Or maybe a standalone version of only the new levels of the 3 main genes? Beauty, strength and intellect, thanks

I like that albino, giant etc are considered positive, but why make them so op? Giant being healthy and +martial doesnt really make sense, albino giving as much lifestyle exp as intelligent is wild.

George, it was just adding the genetic = yes code to make them inheritable. The traits already have birth and random creation values which you can modify if you would like, but making them inheritable only requires that genetic tag. You can add inherit chance modifiers on top of that, but the default values once you add the genetic tag will be added automatically.

Mod has been updated to no longer break all the things. I did only some brief testing but was able to educate children without issue in my testing.

Hello, I have an issue. When I choose traits with 2 stars, I can't educate my children. Do you experience the same issue?

Seemingly every file related to raising children was changed in 1.10, so this mod will break education until it's updated to the new version

Don the lack of cost is kind of intentional -- And if the t5 intellect trait was scaled as the other intellect traits are it would be 400 points, so automatically failing the ruler designer point limit.

there is no cost in the rulerdesigner for those traits, just for giggles, could you add them? i feel scummy using this mod otherwise.

Education effects have been worked in -- this does make the mod less lightweight than I originally intended -- if there are any issues please let me know. The higher tier traits should not properly affect education outcomes as well as the knighthood prowess outcomes for martial educations with cultures that have the knighthood innovation.

I did look into this and can see the scope of the changes I need to make for education. I hadn't noticed in my games I think because flat stat values are also part of that equation and the additional flat values "offset" some of that. I will work on adding additional defines to ensure these traits add the appropriate education bonuses for wards and guardians in the next update.

If there's anything else besides education that comes to mind for these types of interactions let me know.

There are some hardcoded interactions with the traits for example the genius trait greatly influences the level of education that a child recieves. Will the genius+ trait do that too? Keep in mind that this is hardcoded stuff so if you simply added genius+ as a new trait then likely it wont work

It worked without this mod but when I reloaded it it wasn't working again. Myabe its a mix of this mod and something. Everything will be well in time, I'm not rushing haha

Scotty I don't see that issue on the current build that I have uploaded -- currently this mod doesn't touch anything other than traits, the strengthen the bloodline decision, and dynasty perks defines. Any chance it's from something else?

I'm sure you know, but this mod (i deselected all but this one) removes the middle and later eras completely. The only available era is the tribal.

I have tried to learn a few things and the mod should now be much more robust against future patching/updates as the changes are now limited to what the mod adds rather than affecting the entire file. Localization files are a challenge in that regard still but the actual functionality should remain intact through paradox updates unless significant changes are made to traits.

This is a great but a problematic mod so I'll give you some hints to help. Don't take it the other way.

I'll go ahead and say this mode needs to be redone because it will be outdated by pretty much every game update. Let alone mod compatibility aspect of it. You have straight up copied vanilla game files and edited them without removing the parts you didn't touch. It's no wonder you're not updating it either. It must be hell. I can't tell you how to do it properly from here but download "Refuse Election Trait" and look how he did it. He only added one trait so it's easy to understand. The main thing is; as long as files are in the correct directory you can name them differently. So instead of using whole 80_major_decisions.txt you could create a file named inheritable_traits_plus_major_decisions.txt and put only your decisions in it without messing with vanilla ones. You could also check one of my mods for localization since his mod is unnecessarily complicated as well.

Got it. I'll probably have to redo the legacy features (or remove and make it a separate mod) and it sounds like I missed something in the localization file with the naming issue. I'll take a look this weekend.

Just so you know. For some reason the mod seems to affect the bloodline legacies, although if I remember correctly this mod modified them somewhat before, maybe that's why. Now... well... some are their defaults before 1.3, others are the new ones after 1.3, and in the case of True Believers, it's just not there at all. It does absolutely nothing.

But yeah, just letting you know. Another thing I noticed is that the level 4 and 5 intellect traits seem to have their... script name rather than things like Titan of Intellect. Beauty and Physique work fine however.

I think the only issue now is that the new traits added with the update have a missing localization and so they use their code name ie: "trait_poet"
