I'm not sure why this isn't working for me. I made a new playset and started a new game with only this mod and debug mode enabled so I can see the fertility and it's still at 50%. In the decision window there's no text that says "You gain contraceptive methods."

I have the same problem as the comment on 15th Feb. I've checked the code——as long as delete the code that

"
scope:actor = {
is_dynast = yes

"

Then this interaction option will be shown, but on the menu of any character without condition.

So I copied another piece of code from an original document of the game to substitude for the deleted, just in "00_courtier_and_guest_interactions.txt" that

"
scope:recipient = {
OR = {
is_courtier_of = scope:actor
is_pool_guest_of = scope:actor
}
"

To paste this piece in addition can have the same limit as which you author wanted functionally——I've tested a few times, and it looks working properly

Moreover, there seems to be some redundant code in the file and I think you might haven't deleted those, not on purpose, which may not be loaded or word in fact.

Updated it to last patch. Problem is the game somehow dont want to load the title name for decision.

But you have to do that for every new update here. Since my mod doesnt change much technically you dont need any updated version from me. My mod works for every update. Only if PDX decided to change how interactions and decisions work my mod becomes broken.

@Bellegarde Sry for the laid response. You can go into steam/steamapps/workshop/content/1158310/2233310438/common/decisions/contraception_decision and remove the line has_trait = chaste. Same for interactions in the character_interactions foder.

I realized that I'm chaste so it doesn't appear. Really wish that wasn't the case, if you're chaste it would be cool for it to not cost anything imo

Well feasts in medieval had an other meaning what you understand now. Often it was the only great entertainment source outside of knight games and it often lead to sex. A celibate person does it for religious reasons and partying even without sex isnt neither very christian nor sacred. You still enjoying the fruits of the devil etc... like alcohol and other sins. So its only logical that a very religious person doesnt do parties.

Celibate is about sex, not parties or alcohol. There is absolutely 0 mentions of anything but sex in wiki page on it . So unless feasts are orgies, it's illogical, that reveler trait is incompatible with celibate.
Thanks for the tip on how to achieve it though. But still, external mod will be much appriciated (for easier multiplayer setups).

Well it is only logical that you cant be celibate and still party alot. If you are celibate you dont want to celebrate any carnal activities. Or if you party alot you obviously dont want to be celibate only if you loose the trait reveller you can get celibate. Also use my mod if you dont want more children. I dont understand your problem here. Removing the restriction is easy you dont even need a mod for this. Just remove in 00_traits.txt the opposites under celibate = {

lifestyle_reveler
seducer
}

but beware your game will be unbalanced since you removing the opposite effect of a trait so the AI might exploit that.

If you visit a lot of feasts you may get reveller trait.
And if you have reveller trait (or any other similiar that you get from feasts) you can't make decision to accept celibate (which is avalible through medicine lifestyle tree).
It kinda ruins all the need in this lifestyle perk completely and I can't find any mod that would remove that restriction.
It is kind of vanilla way of contraception for me.

@Troma (-1) x (-1) = 1 dont use 2 modifers at once which both decreases negative the fertility.

Anyway to make it have this decrease -100 more fertility? I am using a cheat mod that adds the same amount that this decreases and I end up still having positive fertility.
