BayFOX 16 Aug, 2024 @ 7:03pm
Can i use this with AGOT mod
RandomMurderer 31 Dec, 2021 @ 8:33pm
The 10_extended_bloodline_decisions.txt file to be specific.
RandomMurderer 31 Dec, 2021 @ 8:32pm
"Leaving the bloodline name/description on default will result in an empty name/description"
Easy to fix, remove the line:
ai_priority = 100
from the file and the localization fixes. Looks like that isn't actually a key word for ck3 either, so I don't know why it's there?
你的队友 25 Dec, 2021 @ 7:30pm
Please use english localization to fill other language localizations, it feels shit to see source code straightly in the game.

This mod hasn't been updated. Does anyone know of a new version someone has made?
Malios 7 Feb, 2021 @ 11:28pm
In character creator it lags out when you try to choose a trait cause the bloodline trait has been duplicated too many times
FierceToeNail 28 Nov, 2020 @ 4:09pm
when will this be updated??
theslimchewbacca 19 Nov, 2020 @ 8:24pm
If the founder dies, can you still improve the bloodline?
Ska 11 Nov, 2020 @ 8:39am
Seems great, i love mods that add stuff to family :D
Mustard Chef 6 Nov, 2020 @ 10:54pm
Would it be possible for players to be able to choose what date the dynasty was founded?
jp1of6 29 Oct, 2020 @ 4:29pm
Great mod, makes the game much more realistic! Would love to see an update!
WarTorn87 22 Oct, 2020 @ 6:47pm
Nevermind, I read your bullet points again and now it's clear :) thank you.
WarTorn87 22 Oct, 2020 @ 6:41pm
Curious, does this persist to your heir after you die or is it reset like the other lifestyle trees?
Radanos 14 Oct, 2020 @ 12:24pm
Great! thank you
null  [author] 14 Oct, 2020 @ 12:16pm
@BallsOfSteelBaby You can use the new settings menu to limit it to any rank (baron, count, duke, king, emperor)
Radanos 14 Oct, 2020 @ 11:31am
have you limited the decision to the above count maybe?
null  [author] 14 Oct, 2020 @ 9:03am
I've updated the mod with a new custom settings menu. This can be opened from the decisions menu.
null  [author] 14 Oct, 2020 @ 2:26am
@BallsOfSteelBaby I'm currently working on adding a settings window, I'll add some settings there that should allow you to customize those things.
Radanos 13 Oct, 2020 @ 11:30am
oh, I also seem to be missig the decision name and description
Radanos 13 Oct, 2020 @ 11:24am
and maybe prestige to '4000'? depends how much you tested 3500, as I know sometimes a change in a number could result in AI not doing something completely. also what would you say for limiting it to >count?
Radanos 13 Oct, 2020 @ 11:20am
It's too easy to obtain for AI. I am 60 years in game and have got numerous messages about bloodlines founded - mainly by some count-tier rulers. Will changing:
trigger_if = {
limit = { is_ai = yes }
OR = {
AND = {
custom_description = {
text = create_bloodline_decision_not_already_member
NOT = { has_variable = ebl_bloodline_id }
}
prestige_level >= 2
}
AND = {
custom_description = {
text = create_bloodline_decision_aready_member
has_variable = ebl_bloodline_id
}
prestige_level >= 3

to 1 higher, ie. 3 and 4, fix it?

So I've been trying to get this to work alongside the COW2 mod, unfortunately every time I create a bloodline the save files become corrupted afterwards. I did use the bloodline tree, so maybe that's the problem, should I disable the xp gain for it? If so, is there any other way to get perks for your bloodline?
null  [author] 2 Oct, 2020 @ 7:19am
I've managed to push out an update. I haven't had the time for multiple long runs, but I haven't experienced any issues within the first ~500 years.

Currently known issues:
Leaving the name/description on default will result in the game not applying any name/description.

Please note:
The newest version is not compatible with any previous savegames.
nobody 2 Oct, 2020 @ 6:44am
Hey null, please take your time as there is absolutely no rush... whenever you feel like it... :D
null  [author] 2 Oct, 2020 @ 5:12am
Ok, so I've gone through all the changes that need to be made, and it seems that unfortunately Paradox decided to overhaul some stuff that I'm using.
This means that I might not be able to get the update out before the weekend. I am however trying my best to get it done ASAP.
nobody 30 Sep, 2020 @ 6:20am
@null thank you sir for your diligence. Really like the mod and thank you for your time & efforts! :)
null  [author] 30 Sep, 2020 @ 2:28am
@Black Duke, @nobody I'll see if I can update the mod for version 1.1 before the weekend.
nobody 29 Sep, 2020 @ 8:46pm
Yea the lifestyle screen is kinda broken, still functional but lost the solid background.
Black Duke 29 Sep, 2020 @ 8:10pm
btw, UI broke with latest patch. Didn't test much, but it seems like it might still work as long as you don't mind the messed up UI
Black Duke 25 Sep, 2020 @ 12:26pm
@null I got it to work; you were right, adding characters to lines and deleting them makes the whole thing kinda jank out. Guess I just have to plan out the descriptions a bit more lol.
Q-tyan 25 Sep, 2020 @ 11:47am
ah, ok
null  [author] 25 Sep, 2020 @ 10:20am
@Q-tyan The unique bloodlines tree is exclusive to the AI.
Q-tyan 25 Sep, 2020 @ 9:58am
I have a free perk point but cant take a Tyrant bloodline. Rise up Dread to 100 and still cant. What are conditions for it?
null  [author] 25 Sep, 2020 @ 7:41am
@Black Duke I am not able to reproduce the issue, I do however know that there's problems with adding a character to an empty description line, then removing it.
Please try re-opening the decision, and check if it will allow you to press next if you've made no changes to the name/description.
Black Duke 25 Sep, 2020 @ 7:32am
I don't know if it was conflict with another mod, but when I tried to found a bloodline, it would say the name was too long, even with just a single character, and it obviously couldn't be completed with no name. I also wasn't able to cancel the decision.
null  [author] 24 Sep, 2020 @ 1:30pm
@Ultimate Powa I've gone ahead and added a decision to toggle xp gain. I've also slightly reduced xp earned.
Ultimate Powa 24 Sep, 2020 @ 12:41pm
Unfortunate, I'll have to disable the mod for now.

Can't use it if I keep getting flooded with perk points and theres no way to stop it.

(Lowest I can set the XP to is 25%, needs to be able to go down to 0 at the very least for the mod to be functional long term in a game.)
Ultimate Powa 24 Sep, 2020 @ 12:09pm
So one issue I noticed with this mod, (pretty much the only one) is that even after finishing the tree, you still get bloodline XP.

Having the Bloodline XP rate attached to a "Decision" rather than a "Game Rule" would allow people to easily change the XP rate on the fly, stopping their character from getting flooded with dozens of bloodline tree points.
null  [author] 24 Sep, 2020 @ 10:26am
I've updated the mod. It is now possible to disable the event messages the AI will send you when they create a bloodline. I've also added a unique bloodline the AI can create.

@眼晕 I've added a potential fix for the issue you've mentioned.
眼晕 23 Sep, 2020 @ 8:54pm
there another issue, AIs dont select lifestyle focus with this mod enabled. I tested with all other mods disabled.
眼晕 23 Sep, 2020 @ 6:30am
@null cool
null  [author] 23 Sep, 2020 @ 2:41am
@眼晕 Those bits were originally meat as actual examples for others wanting to add their own trees.
However, I'll have their names updated when I add the next perk tree.
眼晕 22 Sep, 2020 @ 8:14pm
Great mod, works perfectly. Only issue is the example tree, too many words "example"...
Ruby Røse 21 Sep, 2020 @ 10:28am
no worries either way man its a great addition to ck3, thanks for the mod!
null  [author] 21 Sep, 2020 @ 10:11am
I've updated the mod with another perk tree, it should work flawlessly with existing save-games. It might take a month or two in-game to gain access to the new tree.
null  [author] 21 Sep, 2020 @ 6:15am
@BareKnucleChamp Thanks for the bug report, I've gone ahead an pushed a fix for it.

@Ruby Rose Unfortunately there's currently no way to check whether you've earned enough points for all perks.
Momicchi 21 Sep, 2020 @ 6:02am
@bareknucklechamp, fixed that in the latest patch
BareKnuckleChamp 21 Sep, 2020 @ 5:45am
Great mod, i did notice that if you have twins one of them wont get the trait
Ruby Røse 20 Sep, 2020 @ 7:43pm
keep getting bloodline perks passivly after gaining all perks already, but great mod!
