Well about that then, i just use Audacity to cut and trim music and balance the volume
as for exporting it.
Export them as . wav and 44100Hz
BUT if you want to change both l4d1 and l4d2 escape theme
just add _l4d1 into the name like "skinonourteeth_l4d1"

Hiya! Any chance I can add you to ask you for tips about modding music in L4D? I tried it myself but the audio seems compressed and quiet, even when I tried amplifying the volume. Anymore and it would break the audio. I exported it with the correct settings. I remember having this one play and it sounds perfect. I could hear it even among the tank battle.

For context, I'm trying to mod the escape theme for L4D 1 and 2. I also used Adobe Audition to make the mod.
