It also deletes all landless adventurers that are supposed to be present at the game start. Think it may be time to hang this one up.

This reminds me of HOI3 which did something similar but it was faction based rather than culture

As an Englishman I wonder why you didn't make the Anglo-Saxons use runes, when they actually preserved ancient Germanic runes that the Norse didn't even bother to preserve (like the Odal rune).

@Sir Nilbog is correct. This is such a magnificent mod, haven't seen anything like it until today. Yet for some reason, when enabled Holy Roman Empire & Byzantine Empire shattered! :albino_trait::mhneigh:

Yeah unfortunately what happened to MinatoWantae happened to me. HRE and Byzantine broken up. Although I think this maybe due to this mod and RICE combo.

Its hard to explain at a basic level but its like ive set the same of the province to something nonsense like "случай" or "ランダム事柄" something far outside the scope of normal English characters , on any normal font it would display "случай" but on my font maybe it displays "Sweden" but in a one of the different fonts ive edited into the base game font.

Its a technique I do not think anyone else has come up with and I think may work with Victoria 3, if they have localised names that change based on something, In ck3 they can change based on the culture of the ruler and I have hijacked that mechanic. The technique however will not work on any games before ck3 as they all use a different font type that does not support a full range of unicode characters

If any devs of mods want to learn how I did it feel free to dm me, but it does require a knowledge of python scripts and learning how to edit fonts.

What is the cause of that? If I put in 'Oxford', for example, why does it bring up places that aren't even close to that text string?

I noticed just yesterday that when I enable this mod I can't use the Find Title feature. The results that populate don't even match what I type in.

Yeah I am not playing CK2 or CK3 anymore, really getting into vicky2 again lol, so I will only update this mod when I get a comment reminding me changes to the map have been made

Hello! First of all, i want to appreciate your work. Even a simple font can bring so much immersion. Definitely a must have. However, lately i ran into a problem. I tried to start a new game in 1066 and some places in North and South Italy there are parts of land are "Unlanded of" and in Balkans the Duchy of Duklja is non-existent. Some parts of that Duchy is taken by Byzantine Empire. Not sure if i can link here, but here is Imgur screenshot.

Does this work with the map of tang disnaty for the new miller cylindrical projection? when i tried it wessex was on the north of tibet, and some other names whrere in the worng places

that's fair enough, but if you look up the Nuskhuri alphabet which was the Georgian alphabet of the time (there are three, Asomtavruli, Nuskhuri, and Mkhedruli), you'll find the text is always slanted. But you do you, either way I don't think you'll encounter any complaints.

@robertmx well if you want to go with dedicated historical accuracy, with Georgian, I would go for https://www.1001fonts.com/rebellion-free-font.html#styles its not perfect but its the closest to the time period which was like this https://www.omniglot.com/images/langsamples/udhr_georgian_nuskhuri.gif
Definitely a proper choice for Burmese though

I added that after you said there was a problem , the website basically allows you to do by hand what my script does anyway.

btw the mod allows for 16 fonts up to number (1500 + original unicode number).

But those at the end (14 and 15 ) are currently just the default font as they have not been allocated. Going any higher than that will just produce square boxes as names on the map

Thanks for the pickup I have fixed all those and updated the mod. It was a mix of transcription errors, the CK3 Wiki having a different name to the ingame used name e.g. mashriqi-levantine and accidentally also adding in the name of a culture group as a culture.

You might need to fix a few spellings in your script, my error log is full of these:

(so I guess these are the cultures spelled incorrectly, repeated every time for every title)
