Do you (creator of mod) have a spreadsheet or something showing the difference between durability of vanilla weapons, and with this mod. If not, i would like to know how much durability the firemans axe has in comparison to the vanilla counterpart, and well with a crowbar if possible.

You could use Simple Weapon Durability instead, which reduces the global chance for weapons to get damaged instead of modifying their own individual stats for each weapon

@Vulture No it doesn't, this mod changes the durability of weapons manually which means that the author would have to make a patch for every weapon mod for this affect modded stuff.

NOTE for dedicated server hosts. To use this mod make sure everyone disables itemtweaker. There are conflicts. Have everyone refresh the mod afterwards.

Was working before you updated fine on servers, after changes does not work- even with new game/server and manually over-righting old version of the mod (server side) aka: the usual fix to workshop item not matching bug.

Does not work on servers. Gets version confict. Confirmed not any other mods, for all players.

Apart from the barricades and weapon attachments problem. This mod completely corrupts all weapon sounds for some reason last b41 and b41mp

@Mr Zhmur i have noticed the same thing. This mod has 3 parts. Dont use the first 2 ones, those ones are messing with the baricades and weapon attachments / weapon 3d models.

Peeked on how this mod is done, at that's strange, because journal not in the list, but anyway, I totally don't like how it's done - by rewriting all items. Switched to Item Tweaker version, as it does things like it should - by just modifying parameters.

Btw, about light bulbs, if you'd ever gonna implement that. I'm not sure how they die in game, I think they just die when condition goes to zero, but realistically if they're incandescent, they only dies when turned on, like, in 99% of cases. I've seen only once lamp died while being powered and most probably that was because of a drop of water hitting it (which caused glass to crack, though not break). Though, filament would slowly degrade over time independently from turning on. So, realistically, they should go to zero condition, then keep working until next turning on.
Btw, that'd add another neat feature - player turn light on mostly when they need it, and lamp dying exactly at that moment would make life a little bit harder.

Yeah this mod much like the icon is held together with a bandaid It's hard to make a mod that changes one thing about all weapons without it being incompatible with a lot of other mods that also change things. Especially in project zomboid modding where a mod can brick your whole game for no other reason than that you're trying to do something the developers didn't intend you to do. So to anyone using this mod I'm sorry it's so ~special~

@Hyzo this is a fairly small bug, but when your mod is enabled it becomes impossible to write in notebooks. I've tested this a few times and can confirm that it's your mod causing it --- any chance for a fix?

I've been wanting a similar mod when it comes to the generators, at least to make them last longer. I'm not sure if the code is in the Java portion or lua. Might have to look into if it's actually do-able.
This mod only works with vanilla weapons.

It doesn't seem to be working properly for me. My studded baseball bat never breaks, and the propane torch isn't wearing out either.

Out of curiosity, would you be able to implement a way for us as the end-users to adjust the chance for weapon condition to be lowered?
I totally get if that's not doable but I think it would be a valuable addition to the mod since it means users could better customize it for their purposes. (Crazy people could even make durability run out faster as a challenge!)
Just an idea from someone with no modding experience. No idea if this is possible or even feasible.

Wonderful mod, thank you for putting this in! I just want to have fun building but I'm sick of tools, like the axe, snapping so quickly. But just as STUCKOV mentioned earlier, I too can't unbarricade doors and windows for survivor houses nor my own barricades if I'm trying to scrap for planks. I'm playing in Build 41 by the way. Anything helps, thanks.

Well mode work great, i was test few days non range weapon version and its work great, but ther is one small iritating bug. When mode is one i cant unbaricate surivors hoses. Culd you take a look?
PS maybe you culd make mode for indestructible traps too ?

Is it posible you make seperate version that do not affect guns? I already use "Accurate and quiet guns (M16 included) (v41)" and its very good. It not only change range weapon durability but also change ammo weight and so one. I wuld love to use your mod (its redicules how easy axe can broken) but i worry those 2 use toogether will just mess up guns.

Sorry got another bug to report. After the last patch this mod makes it so you cannot fish. If the mod is enabled (B41) it says it cannot find the fishing rod. If I disable the mod it finds it fine.

After the last B41 patch this mod is breaking the game. When it is enabled (either version, itemTweaker or B41) throws errors when you try to disassemble electronic devices. For many devices the option to disassemble is gone (portable radios in your inventory). For those you can (TVs or radios placed on tables) it appears to do it, but throws an error and puts the item unchanged in your inventory. Once I disabled this mod it worked fine.
