@Lernaea I'd be interested in taking over this mod if you have quit SE for now. I was looking for some B5 type weaponry (I do mostly Star Trek mods) and your fixed cannons in particular caught my eye. I couldn't seem to find a way to DM you.

I'm done with SE for the time being. This was mostly a personal mod i made for fun, but I'm glad some of you were able to enjoy it. I won't be taking this down, but I also will not be updating it. If anyone wants to take over, shoot me a DM and we can talk it over.

Tal, the color is based on the ammo that is loaded. you need to create a group with the guns you want to change the color for, add that group to your hotbar and set it to cycle ammo. Keep hitting the hotkey until you get the color you want.

Good turrets with nice rotation angle and speed, but I can't change the color of the beams. It keeps being red no matter what color of the block is. (I used BT-501, BT-511, BT-301, BT-311) When placed in toolbar and pressed "cycle ammo" the color is changing though but I need different turrets with different colors for esthetic effect and it will be difficult to do manually in such way.


Also the turrets placement does not correctly support symmetry mode. In this mode symmetrical turrets look in the same direction as placed.

Not sure why, but all of the turrets are sorters now and are useless. Any idea why?

The sound effects are definitely bad, but they shouldnt be what youre describing. Can you try resubbing to this and see if that fixes it?

@Lernaea Sounds like your sound effects are broken, since I doubt you designed the sound effects to be a deafening, ear-destroying tv-static noise.

ammo is generated using power. The game still sees an actual item for ammo when it fires, though.

You were talking about ammo in the description.. Does that mean that they use actual ammo?
I'm looking for laser weapons that use power rather than ammo, which is why i'm asking :P

i dont think i have enough weapon mods to consider a pack, especially since they are all different aesthetically. I dont plan on doing any more mods for the foreseeable future either. just keeping the ones i have from breaking.

Any plans on making a weapons pack? I love having lots of weapons to choose from but that often leads to really large mod lists.

you cant aim them like vanilla, but if you set them to manual on your hotbar, you can use the weaponcore reticle to aim them in 3rd person. tapping ctrl will toggle the manual aiming reticle

Love the Weapons in general. Just trying to figure out how to manually control them? I see there is the option in a drop down for manual but can you aim them as with vanilla gattlings somehow?

both of the plasma rounds, also the firing sound is hard to hear unlike the pulse/laser weapons

the plasma rounds are very hard to see, may I suggest giving them some a glow effect like on the MWI Collecton 2's pulse lasers?

I'm not aware of a way to add user side sliders to adjust the beam colors. I had to add in a separate entry for each color. As long as the colors arent too similar to what I already have here, I may be open to adding in additional colors. If I knew how, I would add a single entry thats a custom color with a user defined config file. I've been modding for like a month now though, so thats beyond my capabilities.

These look phenomenal. Big, chunky, blocky guns are absolutely my jam. I see you've inhereted Kreeg's love of metallic textures.

The tri-barrels remind me of 40k Lances. Is it possible to recolor the beam and/or projectiles?
