Hi there, could you please update this to MTU 3.3 solely for Havie's Improved Skill Trees? Some characters like Guan Yiping don't get the improved skill tree for some reason

the new MTU is still causing desync for me in co op, it usually happens at around turn 60-80. Tested it in two campaigns.

No problem, thanks for the acknowledgment. I made it for the same reason coop with a friend. I know the coop community is small but I’m glad it could help.

I’m interested to see if the new MTU version works nicely in coop, I hope so. But if it does not feel free to post here and we will see if this mod needs to be revived.

Hey, before we all move on, I just wanted to take a moment and thank you for releasing this mod in the first place. It allowed my friend and me to enjoy the game together without having to choose between a stable MP campaign experience or missing out on some of the best mods on the workshop. You've done us all a service, and I thank you for it and appreciate it. Well done and good fortunes to you!

Great news everyone, the new version of MTU for patch 1.7 removes scripts and offers those functions (like concubine system) in a separate event mod!

I don't think I will continue to update this mod, now that the base MTU mod has made those changes.

@Beans From my coop experience, the Events/Dilemmas are what generally seem to cause the desyncs in MP.

I'd love to try a version that was similar to the Some Scripts version, but sans the events/dilemmas as well.

@Prkl8r - No, it is the scripts themselves that possibly cause desyncs. The only 3-4 characters will be missing without scripts. I’m afraid you will just have to make that choice when you run your MP campaign. Are increased risk of desyncs worth a few more characters?

Is it possible to remove only the scripts that desync MP games but leave any that spawn characters?

@Beans-Since MTU is dead will you still work on this mod to run with Fates Divided with the other updates MTU did? Or will this mod die as well?

MTU isn't coming back it looks like. After the new Divide DLC this is probably going to be the closet to an updated MTU that can run in game.

@Beans, no worries. Thank you for your time. I hardly even noticed it and have spent countless hours playing your version of MTU. It was only earlier today when I decided to do a Ma Teng run that I noticed that something was off with Pang De (he hated Ma Teng for some reason!). I checked around and realized it was a bug caused by MTU 2.6 and was only fixed in 2.6d. Anyway, I'll just hold off on a Ma Teng run and play someone else. Thanks again.

@Sinclaire - thanks for the interest in the mod, but I probably won't update until the next major MTU release with multiple new characters. I'm not the most experienced modder so it takes me a long time to go through the new MTU releases.

Have Skill should work, I incorporated the fixes need from Glorfy in these MTU mods. Don't use the modified files that Glorfy posted on Haive's mod page. Try this:

LOAD ORDER:

@Holynevil - I have not specifically tested those, but I suspect that YES they would work fine. Just make sure your mod load order is exactly what they recommend if you were using the base MTU mod. Try one at a time and see if they work or crash.

@Giovanille - MTU stands for Make Them Unique which is the base mod. This mod is a edited version of MTU with some things removed that I did not like.

Ah I see. I was just kinda irritated, as I suspected a version just with illustrations and 3D models. Yeah they might be balanced. Didn't check them out hard core. What threw me off a little, was when I started a Zhen Jiang campaign, with a different skill build and my generals being unique with more interesting skills than my faction leader. Not sure how I'm feeling about it.

You did not make a mistake, this mod includes the new skills for new MTU characters.

I have left those new skills included for three main reasons 1) it’s incredibly difficult for an amateur modern like myself to rip out all the MTU skills and replace them with vanilla skill setups. It requires a lot of different table edits to creat new characters skills. 2) I feel like skills help make characters feel unique just as much as new 2d art and 3D models. 3) The MTU skills seem relatively balanced from my testing. Some skills based on their tool tips may seem overpowered, but in battle they are reasonable due to limited uses, or maybe long animations, poor AoE range or other limitations that aren’t communicated well in the tooltips. And of course their are crazy OP skills in vanilla too.

I did a quick check and it looks like the mod has the new skill trees from MTU. Is this intentional, cannot be removed or maybe my mistake because I had installed MTU (not loaded tho)?

It technically 'works', as in it won't immediately crash. However, you are likely to have desyncs later in the campaign. Some of those desycns you may not be able to fix by reloading with your co-op friend.

It is very frustrating to get far into a co-op campaign with a friend, only to have it ruined and not be able to finish. This is why I recommend the NO SCRIPTS version for co-op. I would also recommend you keep your total mod usage in co-op to a ABSOLUTE minimum. Co-op campaigns are unstable even with zero mods, so be very careful on what you really need.

Not sure about compatibility with Radious and All Factions playable, I don't use those mods. I might be able to test it over the next few days and I'll let you know if there is a solution.

i seem to not be able to see alot of generals faces missing and illustrations i use radious and all factions but still can not seem to find the load order or i am just gonna have to wait for something to be fixed i dont mind at all just wanna use liu yu and i cant see any face when i wanna choose.
i have all mtu compatible the patch puzzles idk what i am doing to make it not work.. any ideas? btw thanks in advance.

@Beans Thanks! I told them a while ago lol. I tried with your MTU with no scripts and the event occurred normally, and with some scripts and the official version it did not occur. Also, this event is actually a World Betrayed campaign event...

The MTU scripts don't appear to have anything regarding that event. However MTU has long had issues with the MoH start, so I am not surprised there is a problem there. Until the most recent MTU patch you couldn't even launch MTU for the MoH start date, it would crash instantly.

If this bug occurs even on the official MTU version I recommend you post your bug on MTU's mod page or in their discord bug reporting.

Hi! I see you are very familiar with scripts, so is it possible for you to check whether MTU causes the event in which Yangfeng takes over the emporer from Lijue's faction to not happen? It always happens in the base game but after the newest MTU update the event no longer shows up.
